Story

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

The best classes and instruction that anyone could ask for. Note: I do not work there, but I do feel it necessary to express my positive personal experience with this gym, and its trainers. When checking out the three CrossFit gyms here in Oak Harbor, it is very transparent as to which one is the best. The staff at CrossFit Oak Harbor provides the utmost in professionalism, the best quality of instruction and expertise that you will find in hundreds of miles without paying the hundreds of dollars a month for a personal trainer. All of the trainers have been or are currently active duty military members, which outlines their devotion to being the best at whatever they partake in. The coaches at this gym have been the most supportive, helpful, insightful, and downright wonderful set that anyone could bargain for. I have been training under these gentlemen for almost two years now. I have followed them from day one when they all worked for another gym in the area, and I will continue to follow them until I am forced to move away. The gentlemen are always in a cheerful mood and it is infectious throughout the clients. They are and always have been ready to help and push you further than you farther than you ever thought was possible. Everyone who has been through the free first class knows CrossFit Oak Harbor is the best. From personal experience, the other gyms in the area do not promote good attitudes and do not support their clients in same way that Tim, Roy, Michael, Tyler, and the rest of gang do. Notes about this gym: -INSTRUCTION is top priority here. These guys hold CLASSES multiple times a day! -These guys are certified CrossFit Trainers. -The trainers are constantly educating themselves on what is best for their clients. Nutrition, science, movements, everything that they learn, they pass to us. - Children have their own area with a TV, a homework desk, and free WIFI so the parents can get their workouts done . - The best CrossFit staff within hundreds of miles, a great facility, cheap rates, and U.S. Navy Veteran owned and operated.

I have been a member at every CrossFit gym in Oak Harbor. Until I stepped in the doors at CrossFit Oak Harbor I thought I was a pretty good Crossfitter. I had been Crossfiting for over a year and had never been properly instructed on how to do any of the olympic lifts or gymnastic movements. After my first session at CrossFit Oak Harbor I immediately felt as if I had been wasting my money the last year. There is no better gym on the island when it comes to experience in coaching or overall knowledge in the sport of CrossFit than at CrossFit Oak Harbor.
