Beautiful place. It has racoons nearby the cross, around the bus stop.
Nice walk, no difficult to reach. I’ve been there during winter and autumn seasons and both are beautiful. The cross is basically the summit of the walk.
I went when no one was around dusk on an icy winter weekday, and it was so peaceful up there, I got some great pics! If you're into monuments, this one's scale may surprise you up close you can walk through the base of the cross.
Industrial look. Very cool, wish I could climb it. Praise god
Good walk / easy hike to see

The Montreal Cross, for me personally, reflects in many ways the pure essence of the city. Perched high atop Mt. Royal, it has served as beacon for decades and is visible at night from pretty much any location within the city. You can see it driving into the city from outside on the HWY. It's a bit of a hike to get to it and one must be in somewhat reasonable physical condition to climb the trails.
