Food was very good. Was home cooked and big portions . Baked goods were fairly pricdd and delicious! The best I've had in town.

I ordered a blue birthday cake with buttercream filling with Happy Birthday and my grandsons name for his birthday. What I got was a red cake with blue trim, no writing, no buttercream, and horrible tasting. It tasted like a leftover 4th of July cake that had been frozen. When I picked it up the person said there was nothing they could do about it. I took it because I did not have time to do anything else for my grandson. This was a terrible experience and we ended up throwing it away after the mandatory happy birthday piece.

We had a delicious lunch with friends today in this new Mount Vernon best kept secret.. I enjoyed the Reuben sandwich and my husband had the Pilgrim. Both were excellent and came with a salad bite and a sample of bread pudding. Friday is clam chowder day and our friends who ordered it said it was exceptionally good. One friend ordered French toast and the portion was ample and he said very good. The decor is bright with lots of turquoise. Kate, the owner, chatted with us about her previous restaurant in LaConner and her bread pudding awards.

They delivered red velvet, vanilla, and chocolate cupcakes to my company. These cupcakes were so good that even the people who don't like cupcakes came back for seconds. I highly recommend Cravings Bakery & Cafe!
