We got delivery via toast. It was my first time eating here.... brunch on a Sunday. Chicken and waffles were reportedly good. The elote bites were awesome. I really liked the Tikka tacos...textures and flavors were awesome. I'd order from here again.
Pretty disappointing experience. Server named Ellie never came back after food was dropped off to check if food was good/if we needed drinks for the entire meal. Next, the fish fry taste was not great and, at $18, which is slightly pricier than competitors and I would hope for more than 7 tatter tots. I ordered extra tartar sauce, but the kitchen ran out-Craft Cow still charged me for extra tartar sauce though. Since the server never came back I had to walk up to the bar to ask a bartender for this service, he was very nice. Ironically, when we were done eating, the bartender brought over 3 tartar sauces. I have friends that work here, therefore I will be back to give the poor service and disappointing food another try.
Chicken sandwich was great but service was very slow. Seated quickly by an unenthusiastic worker who was in a seat at the bar. Took a solid 15min for anyone to acknowledge we were seated to take drink and app order. Besides the service at the time of our visit, the food was great.
First off I love DQ's Dilly Bars, and after going there so much I did notice Crafty Cow. My sister and I were going out in Downtown tonight and I decided that now was the time to visit Crafty Cow. I had the Southern Fried classic chicken sandwich and sis has the Honey Butter Biscuit Sandwich, there sandwiches were surprising large and I have to admit one of the best chicken sandwiches around, will definitely be visiting again. I shouldn't slight our server, he was amazing also.
Moo! Stopped at the craftycow in tosa for a well needed #BloodyMary. Daydrinking is the best way to have lunch meetings in Milwaukee. My bloody came complete with a small can beerchaser They also infuse their vodka with a lot of yummy Ingredients. I ordered the waffle fries which come with like 10 different sauces. I love east tosa so many fun establishments to visit I'll be back soon. The only reason service got a 4 is because there was only one person covering the whole restaurant. He did what he could. I was certain we were on an episode of “Bar Rescue” because this place is horrendous. We were the first customers to walk I the door. Plenty of staff but no one came to help. Food took forever. Half our party got and finished their food before the rest of us. I ordered a plate of waffles, they brought one tiny waffle with butter, no syrup. We ordered tater tots and they had a dark hair fried into them! Not on top, INSIDE! The manager was very nice but the staff were so useless! Just sitting around talking. Would never go back!
Place has a nice cool vibe to it. Food is decent . Drinks are good! Music is contagious and make you wanna dance.
Won’t be back. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food not great, very salty and cheese curds we’re sitting in there own grease. Also not a fan of percentage tacked on to my bill for employee benefits. While this shows a emphasis on your employees I don’t want to see it on my check much less taxed on it. Imagine going to the grocery store and the store tacking this on to your bill before tax…no thanks!
Food is great. Drink prices exorbitant! If I'm gonna pay ten bucks for a beer when I look out the window I better see Miami, LA or NYC. Not Milwaukee. That said the food is very good. Chicken and Waffles, yum! Burgers, yum! Food is all high quality and delicious. Drink prices don't allow me to give fifth star. Edit: owner gave lame response saying "all beers are not $10. Most are $6-8" okay how about a $9. CAN 12oz Downeast cider pear. Fourth star deducted for lame response that trips over itself.
Here for late afternoon lunch, very quiet. No staff greeted us nor sat us, but a sign said seat ourselves. After a 15 minute wait, waitress finally came over. Came back with drinks, tap water in a glass jug, no cups, no ice. Waited 40 minutes for a subpar burger, lukewarm, not to mention small. Also got a side of very dry, unflavorable Mac and cheese, the side is NOT included in the price of the burger. Tables not cleaned off, very disorganized and rather unpleasant experience. Will not be going again
