Good food. It's busy here, and the gift shop is a bit of a madhouse, but lots of fun. The service was nice, and one waitress even stopped by all the tables to ask if we'd join her in singing happy birthday to her mom who was sitting at another table. The whole place joined in. You can't beat that level of family atmosphere.

Whenever I travel to Kenosha, I always stop at cracker barrel! A franchise that is consistent and delicious. I've never been disappointed in the food or fast friendly service. Yes there are times waiting to be seated seems long, but trolling through the gift shop or playing checkers in the outside chairs makes the time go by faster. The shop has unique gifts for all ages and has travel games as well.

We checked in for our group of 5 and told the wait would be 40 minutes. We knew it was a long wait but have always had a great time here so felt it was worth it. We were sat after 45 minutes which isn't bad. However, we were sat at a table that should seat 2 and they were trying to set for 4 and tried to seat 5 of us by putting an extra chair in the walkway and blocking it. We couldn't open our menus even and knew we wouldn't be able to fit food and drinks. We asked for a table that could fit us, when we sat there were 3 large open tables. They told us it would be another 20-30 minutes to get a table. We ended up leaving after almost an hour wait without eating. I'm not an online review leaves, but I am very upset.

You talk Cracker Barrel, all talk old school. But this place is Amazing! But its not unique. I can't resist these pancakes. The first time I cam is the reason why I came twice more. "Burger" King. Talk all day, you an outbeat this! This place is also kind of like a mini shop. Service is a bit running behind, but hey, practice makes perfect, and perfect is just the right saying here. I don't like spending a lot, but this is worth it!

Our server was a sweet young girl who truly did her best. The restaurant was dirty. Sat at a table with syrup running down the chair next to me into a large puddle on the floor, which of course I had inadvertently stepped in. Our server brought a mop & rag to attempt to clean as best she could at the time. Food was delivered by the manager. One of our sampler plates was missing one of the food items. When our server stopped to check on us & was questioned, she immediately got the other food item. The food itself was decent & what you expect from Cracker Barrel. Overall, we came, we ate, we left with full bellies & a sticky shoe. The effort of our server to make things right saved the evening.
