Took me over a month to get my referral in because their fax machine doesn't work, my chiropractor had to hand deliver it to the clinic. Then it took me weeks to get a hold of any one on the phone because they do not call back and when I finally get someone and ask to make an appointment, they confirm all my information, and tell me someone else will call back to book me. its been over a week and I have not been called nor do I understand why my appointment couldn't be booked right then. I had originally been hoping I would get to see someone about my issues before uni started back up and it is now November and I feel like I've made zero progress.
It took 6 months to get this appointment by family doctor referral. I haven't attended the first appointment yet, and my case is probably atypical, but the initial experience of answering a ton of questions in the patient information gathering questionnaire was less than ideal. There were a lot of questions, on many pages. There was no indication of how long it should take to complete, no any displayed page number or total pages. On top of this, the patient has Alzheimer's Disease. I am a POA for the patient, not a mind-reader. I cannot possibly provide meaningful answers for a great many of the questions, and the patient does not have the capacity to accurately describe their pain experiences. It would be helpful to consider a questionnaire redesign, to streamline this process for my scenario, and possibly others.
Clean location. Very inconvenient hours for those of us who have to work - my medications aren't working well and I was offered infusions, which is great, but it's during the workday. Also kind of felt like I was brushed off when I talked about how my pain was compromising my ability to exist day to day - apparently "surviving" and doing the bare minimum is the benchmark they set.
I’ve been going to this clinic weekly for 4 years and it’s saved me from chronic agony. The receptionists, nurses and doctors are all An incredible and genuinely caring team. I’m so thankful I see Dr. Chin who is well respected in this specialty. Very grateful for this team
Without the help from this clinic I would not be able to function on a day to day basis. All nurses are polite and friendly, as are the ladies at the front desk. Dr. Morin always listens to what I say and has a great bedside manner. I visit this clinic weekly for injections and have no negative comments.
I was in a lot of pain in my lower back mostly I have spurs & bulging disks I also suffer from bad headaches since I started coming here I have been able to do so much more than before baking or cooking a nice meal was hard standing there but not anymore my headaches are less often and not as pain full. The staff here are all great very friendly they make you like your a friend I attend the clinic in Oshawa Ontario. If your in pain don’t turn to meds come see them instead oh ya I can run and play with my grandbabies now
Dr. Mark Hawass with his staff, are welcoming , professional and very knowledgeable. I am very happy to have this team to help me through my pain. Dr. M. Hawass listens, is very helpful and guides you, with his knowledgeable information; to make you feel human again. I want to thank you and I am thankful because without this clinic my pain wouldn't have been calmed down to a level where I can tolerate it and function for my family.
The front staff girls and so kind and accommodating, my doctor is great, efficient and listens to me. Nurses are good at what they do and get you in a room and out the door in a timely manner. I have nothing but great things to say
I have been a patient of Dr. Chin's for years. However, he is more than a doctor, he ensures you have what you need in every way. He has been a shoulder to cry on during covid, and has assured that I had what I needed for my pain treatment. The Admin staff and all the nurses are top notch. Always, supportive and caring to help with the care I need. From making appointments to administering Lidocaine treatments, there are none better.
Staff are all excellent! The nurse's that see you before the doctor are always very compassionate and kind. I feel they really address your needs with great understanding and care. I've been seeing Dr. Feroze who I can say is very thorough and professional. I can feel he truly cares to help me with my pain management. He takes the time to listen and goes above and beyond to help. I recommend CPM Oshawa to anyone with chronic pain. Thank you Mr. Alexander
