Coyotes Southwestern Grill

Was seated on the last 2-person table in the middle of the restaurant,with staff swerving around us. Busy night,so understandable. Sat for 10 minutes with no server contact (no menu,water or welcome). A table of 8 came in and within 2 minutes of sitting down were provided with menus and water. We left..our money was obviously not required.

The veggie burger had good flavour but was a little mushy. I'd have it again. I can't say the same for the sweet potato soup. I think it was a carton of sweet potato pure with corn added

Love. Service was great, coffee was good. Ordered the salmon breakfast, soooooo good. Honey got the Mountain man breakfast , huge portions and we loved the spice in the potatoes.

I've been going back to Coyotes with my family for 10+ years. And while the neighboring restaurant has pulled away a bit of the crowds -- it's actually nice because we can more easily get in! (Hint, get there before 10am). I love the Juevos Rancheros and this photo had a Chai Tea latte instead of coffee on this last visit - super yummy. The full family likes this location - great fueling stop for your morning.

Just not what used to be. Wild mushroom pasta lacked wild mushrooms and taste. This is a dish that I have eaten here many times for many years. Overall I think the quality of the food is not what used to be. The staff is friendly but many times too rushed. Used to be my go to restaurant in Banff. Now I am looking for other options.
