Omg, the best pizza by the slice in town and doesn't cost an arm and leg! They use their custom dough recipe which is great. At night the boys working were amazing, but when we came back for breakfast the lady was another story. The breaky bagel was great, but I thought it was too pricey for the effort.
Great place and great prices for Banff. I had the vegan poutine and it was delicious. I recommend you take a look if you are in town and hungry.
I’m not sure why this place gets so much hate in their google reviews. It’s literally one of the only places to get eats after 11pm in Banff, so when it’s prime season or an event is going on, of course the wait time is going to be long. Ya the food isn’t 5 star dining but it’s pretty obvious that isn’t what they are going for. if you are looking for a late night bite, the pizza is top tier and the service is always friendly. Thank you Aardvark for not being pretentious and supplying the late night crowd with some grub and a smile. :
Once waited over two hours for delivery. Called repeatedly and told the pizza was ‘on its way’. Unfortunately, it was late night and not many other options in Banff at that hour. When the pizza finally arrived, it was cold. Also did not taste good bitterness aside. This incident occurred Sept of 2021 and I’m writing this Feb of 2022. That’s how upset I was about this. To top it off, the driver was unapologetic, and seemingly perturbed when I told him to take the pizza and leave when he finally arrived. 0 out of 5.
Got my food, took an hour and a half and ice cold. They said sorry nothing we can do and laughing over me being upset that they’d do nothing to compensate. i offered to come down to get a new order and just said no sorry. To add, not blaming the delivery guy. If its going to take so long a warning would be nice. I would’ve come myself and grabbed it. The laughter from the employee is what made me write this review.
Generous three just because it was busy and hard to keep up. Quality was okay prices are pretty high and service was a little slow. However I can see drunk people loving this place so I give it a three. Staff were friendly which is a plus.
Ordered two large pizzas costed $60 they got delivered in 15 minutes and were Ice cold. Basically they just gave us whatever pizza they had sitting there already made. Ive never been delivered cold pizza im shocked any place especially with this price point thinks that’s okay. It was so gross. Never ordering from here again.
Stopped in for takeout. Pizza was made in a stone-style oven and was really good. Had a BBQ beef sub that was pretty good, could have used a little more meat and a little less BBQ sauce. Poutine was advertised as the "best authentic canadienne poutine". By my standard I would give this poutine only 6/10. Great experience overall, will return again if I need some good pizza.
This was my first time trying Aardvark. First impressions were really good. The delivery arrived way faster than expected which is nice. The crust was nice with a good crunch and still fairly light. Toppings were pretty generous as well. Cooked perfectly. Aardvark also has vegan cheese for anybody with dairy problems. Overall I was really satisfied with Aardvark. The only downside is that it seems a fair bit expensive for two pizzas. But that is also to be expected in a place like Banff.
What happend to this place? Usto be amazing I know prices r up hense why it's 5$ a slice now but omg don't change ur recipe to garbage u disappointed a huge group never ever again. New pizza pizza in town is 100% better then you guys. And now una and other places in banff
