Staff was friendly. Food was good. Had fish and chips and mozzarella sticks. $50 total for two people Small dining area. A long established part of port credit. Offers takeout. EDIT: The restaurant could use some updating, but is still worth a visit if you are in the mood for classic fish & chips.
Very good food. Tasty and crispy fish and chips. Servers are really sweet and helpful. Visited the place while fasting and they made sure to serve my meal on time which is really appreciated. On street parking spots are limited and you might need to walk.
Worst fish and chips I have ever had. I couldn't believe it when I opened the boxes. Fish was at the bottom of the box with a load of soggy, oily chips on top. Everything was saturated in oil. Half the batter was missing on two pieces of fish and whatever batter was left on it was dripping with oil. Almost $50 for food we couldn't even finish because it was so oily. Terrible.
Everytime I order delivery I can see why it holds a perfect score on skip the dishes! Always big portions and perfectly cooked never tasting greasy and never even being soggy when it arrives to me. This is now my go to for fish and chips!Food: 5/5
We were so surprised to find this gem in Port Credit - and to find out it’s been here for 50 years. We got the fish halibut & chips - batter was light, flavour was delicious, chips were perfect. The dishes came wrapped in paper and everything from the presentation to the flavour was exactly like the last fish & chips we had while in London. Restaurant was bright and clean, and the batter tasted like the oil was fresh. Highly recommend!
Great fish and chips friendly place .
Would return. Reminds me of high school and the local corner shop. Fatty and crispy, but I miss the Australian touch of chicken salt on the chips. Great little shop, coleslaw is fresh and fish is battered fresh to order.
Filled with oil and grease. They didn’t really let it drain . Batter was half burnt , fries over cooked. Worse part is the oily batter that’s never drained. Price is way too high for the cat size fish you get
Food tasted great, the fish tasted fresh. Everyone working was very polite. The seating area is a little small so keep that in mind. I would definitely visit again and recommend it to anyone craving good fish and chips.
If you love fish & chips and find yourself in port credit, definitely hit up this spot - serves the best battered halibut fish in the GTA. Don’t bother ordering appetizers or salads.....the food was subpar. The halibut fish & chips or halibut sandwich are what put this place on the map....I guarantee your taste buds haven’t had fish and chips/fish sandwich that tasted this good. Rating this 5 stars because of how damn tasty this meal was, will definitely be back for more.
