Corona Village

My husband and I were traveling through to see the corn palace and found this place last minute for dinner. The hostess/our waitress was extremely friendly, as was all the other staff we interacted with. For $25 we feed 2 people and we couldn't even finish it all. I saw a fish taco as a part of another meal and asked if I could have just fish tacos as a meal. She let me know that the dish I wanted was normally a lunch option but that it would be no problem to serve it to me now. The dishes came at the same time and very fast. In our meal was included free chips and salsa, as well as a small dessert of 2 sweet tortilla chips with fruit drizzle and whipped cream, the perfect finish. All of the food felt authentic and tasted delicious. Would recommend.

Excellent food and large portions for a fair price. If you like spicy food, they can modify the relatively tame dishes to kick up the heat. Just ask your server

Edited/updated - they have remodeled and so so so much of the charming ambiance is gone now. Also the new menu still has vegetarian options but he menu has changed quite a bit. Food is still flavorful and yummy but I definitely didn't leave with the same experience as last time. It almost seems like they are preparing to sell the restaurant with how blandly they have remodeled the interior - it now looks like a low end cafe inside. :/ ----------- A true delight! They have a fantastic menu and even have a vegetarian section. The veggie burrito was the best Mexican I have had in the last full week of traveling including Texas and New Mexico. The waitress was super attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend, it's probably the best restaurant in town.

Amazing find in Mitchell, one of the best Mexican American meals I've ever had. Staff is super nice and the food is just plain stupidly good. Prices are great for the sizes of the portions. Definitely recommended!
