Cornerstone Plumbing

They came to my house on a Sunday morning, we had water coming up our basement drain.They said we had roots in main drain from house to street so they cleaned them out. Were here for an hour charged me for 3 hours and 2 weeks later had to call them back with same issue. They said they do not warranty root clean outs but would come back because I complained about the cost of the initial visit (which was over $700). Same guy came back and did same thing in a half hour and said we don't have a root issue, something else is wrong. You need a guy to go in with a camera and see what's going on. So we hired another company to come in with a camera and he found ROOTS!! 90% blockage in multiple spots that Cornerstone said was not the problem. The company with the camera cleaned out roots ran camera back down and showed it to us and also gave as a copy of the before and after video. They also warranty it for a year. Called & complained to the owner of Cornerstone & he refused to reimburse me anything saying "We did our job" and take me to court if you have a problem. If doing your job is charging over $700 to remove roots and then saying you don't have a root issue then they need to find a different line of work. WOULD NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY BURNING A HOLE IN YOUR POCKET AND LIKE THROWING IT AWAY.

Overall very pleasant and friendly! Unfortunately they have some very disgusting habits. I received services on April 15,2012. I live in a townhouse which is connected to three other townhomes. My basement has the main sewer clean out site. They left my basement very unsanitary and inhabitable. What once clogged the drains was left in a pile next to the sewer clean out site. Along with a trail of sewage that lead up the basement stairs and through the kitchen. I later called their main office to complain. I was told that since this was public housing they wouldn't clean up. I am appalled! I would not recommend their services at all!
