Had an emergency today and called Austin Plumbing. Within an hour I had a technician on the way. Scott came, assessed my needs, put in a new effluent sewage pump and some other odds and ends. Done by 5:00! Great service, great work, great personality, filled me in on all I needed to know -- and signed me up for Diamond Club -- I feel like I'm covered -- and at a reasonable price. Last night my hot water heater stopped working. I called Allied Plumbing first thing in the morning and they had someone out to my house around lunch time. When they arrived, the technician said I'd need to replace my unit with a new one (expected). When I asked what my options were, he said I only had one option based on the need for a power vented unit. He gave me the cost and it seemed way overpriced, so I asked why so high? I then called the manager and talked to him about why the price was so high. He explained it's the price of doing business these days. I then called two other local plumbing places and gave them the same information and they told me they charge 50% of the cost that Allied was charging me for. I tried to cancel my appointment, but because they already started work (diagnosing a replacement), I was under contract. I am extremely unhappy with the help received from management and at the cost of what it took to replace my hot water unit. $2,800 for a 50 gallon power vent water heater! I will never go back to Allied Plumbing. They were not willing to work with me. Once the technician walked in the door I was stuck. 'The cost of business' will not earn them additional business from me. I recommend you look elsewhere for estimates before allowing Allied Plumbing into your home.

The customer service we received from Austin plumbing was awesome! We had a schedule appointment for this week but ran into further issues. When I called on Saturday I was able to speak to someone and they called us first thing Monday morning and got to us by 8:00am. Pete was fast, efficient and was able to diagnosis the problem quickly. He thoroughly explained how to resolve the issues and discussed pricing. Would definitely use them again.

If you are looking for top notch service look no further, this company is the best. Their staff is outstanding and treats their customers like family. Most recently, I had Todd out for a tune up on my a/c and he was awesome. This company is serious about making sure their customers know what is happening every step of the way. I truly appreciated the fact that Todd explained everything to me and answered any questions I had with patience and kindness--as a woman, I can honestly say that is not the case with all companies, and finding one that is trustworthy and reliable is not easy. Austin Plumbing and Polar Express go above and beyond what they are being paid to do, and do so with a smile. They are meticulous about their job, they show up when they say they will, and leave your home looking better than when they got there. Put simply, they can't be beat.

Scott came out to look at my pressure tank that was running too often. I ended up having a new constant pressure tank installed. I also had them replace and outside hose faucet that was leaking. Scott and all the gentlemen that helped were very knowledgeable, courteous, professional.
