I lived in Concord Tower for nearly a year and loved every bit of it. Starting with the location of the property, it is centrally located on Whyte Ave and is one the safest locations in the City. There's a bus stop right outside the building and LRT station is a 6-8 mins walk. The building manager Janet Gadot is amazing! She's got your back during your time here. One thing I appreciated the most during my stay here was the promptness in answering the maintenance requests. Overall, the building offers some great views, has no noise issues concrete building and brings you the much needed peace and escape at the end of a long day. Hoping to be back soon!
we were living in building for 3 years. This review is specifically for a building manager Janet Gabot that manages the building write now. She is the best, kindest, the most helpful and responsible person you can ever meet as a building manager. Whenever an issue rises she is there to solve and help in a most convenient way. Although GWL Realty Advisor company had previous managers that were nice as well but she is by far the greatest. building itself has a great location, is clean and well maintained.
I saw their ad on multiple platforms and after setting up a viewing with Janet Gabot - the viewings were postponed 3 times with a 15 minute notice. The last time it wasn’t postponed but no one showed up. Got an email asking if I am still looking, and I replied by asking a few questions and never got a reply for the same. I am not sure if they are trying to find a tenant or pretending to find a tenant. My friend has lived in this building and he also had maintenance issues frequently. Avoid at all costs!
Was a decent building until Vertica bought it. Now they want to charge the same rent as the building across the street which actually has a gym, movie threate and salt water pool as amenities. Furthermore they violate the rta a lot, come in the suite without notice whenever they want once while I was in the washroom! Without giving notice, and mass non renewed/evicted all prior tenants in order to jack prices. Stay well away. Worst management I've dealt with in my life and even taking them to court for it. Oh and tried to push a 700 cleaning bill for 14 hours at 50 an hour when I terminated my tenancy, without me even being present in the suite when they checked it, giving me notice they were inspecting the suite, or me being finished moving.
Conveniently located
I can not recommend this place more. The new manager, Grace, takes care of the building and its residents. She is the best at her job. Maintenance and staff are very fast to respond. The lobby and elevators are always clean. The location is close to the bus station, and 6 min walk to the LRT.
