Beautiful park! Everything is green now. The tulip season is there which makes it even better.nI really enjoyed my visit there, amazing sunset over the water.nThe commute in public transport was easy.nLots of people enjoying the tulip season.nRecommend
One of the best places to visit Tulips. You can see around 50+ shades of tulip colours. It takes around 3 to 4 hours to view all the Tulips.nnThe best season to visit this place will be May 2nd week where you can see all the Tulips. Beyond that tulips will start to wither.nnYou can also buy Tulip bouquet for $15. The park is amazing , has seats to sit and relax. No entrance fee for this place. You can also get food in mobile truck during the Tulip festival.nnIf you are lucky you will get a free parking near by. Else you have to use pay parking. It costs around 20$ for 4 hours.
This park is THE place to see tulips in Ottawa. With 300,000 bulbs planted - all sorts of colors - it makes for an amazing display.nnMy favourite was the not so common dark purple black tulips. You don't see them very often.nnIf you are short on time, you can definitely see everything you need to - in the park.nnDuring the Tulp Festival, there are a locations where you can use portable toilets. And there are a number of food trucks on site where you can grab a quick bite.nnEnjoy!nnIt's well worth a visit!
Beautiful park right next to the water. Plenty of great spots for a refreshing walk, picnics, or picturesque photos. There are gorgeous gardens and well maintained greenery. A very peaceful spot.
Famous for hosting the Canadian Tulip Festival, this park is well-known among us locals. However, even without its most famous festival, this park remains beautiful. We recently spent a summer Sunday afternoon enjoying the green grass, trees, cool breeze from the lake, and people-watching. It was a peaceful and tranquil time.nnOne of my friends and his wife visited us, and we took them to this park along with other tourist spots in the city. They thoroughly enjoyed it!nnWe wanted to take a boat ride from the park to the Rideau Canal. The boat operator's website mentioned this park as a station. However, we discovered that only one trip operates from the Rideau Canal to the park and back to the Rideau Canal. Please consider this when planning your visit.
