This Ottawa park is a nice spot for a relaxing day with family. It’s quiet, family-friendly, and perfect for a picnic by the waterfront. The small beach area is a nice addition, and the volleyball courts are great for a game with friends. It also has free parking. The only downside is that the water at the beach seems a bit on the dirty side. Despite this, the park itself is enjoyable and provides a nice setting for a fun day outdoors.

The beach itself is spacious, with plenty of soft sand to lay down a blanket or set up chairs for a peaceful afternoon. It’s an ideal spot for sunbathing, building sandcastles, or simply enjoying the breeze.nIf you're looking for a laid-back experience, you can lounge by the shore, dip your toes in the water, or read a book under the shade of nearby trees. For the more adventurous, the beach offers various water activities like swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The water is generally clean and calm, making it great for families with kids or those wanting a refreshing swim.nThere’s a well-maintained park adjacent to the beach, perfect for picnics or BBQs with family and friends. Perfect place to have a picnic with a beautiful sunset view. Filled with families and friend groups playing different sports and having BBQs. My go to place when I’m bored in Ottawa, views never disappoint.
Lovely, big park and beach located in Britannia. There are quite a number of amenities in the beach park here; 2 big baseball fields, basketball court, wadding pool, children playground, a beach, a walking trail, expansive places to walk around and sit, the park is pet friendly as there are dedicated part of the park where you can play around with your dogs. The beach is also cute and lovely, ideal place to have fun with family and friend, play beach volleyball and go swimming during the summer. Lovey park and beach. I recommend for a visit.
Lovely little beach. It was clean and not too busy when I was there with my family. Liked the café as well! I made friends with a squirrel.nThe bathrooms weren't super clean but was alright.
