I have experienced an exceptionally warm welcome at Commercial Electronics without the feeling of being sized up . John Foster has gathered a lot of knowledge in high end audio and is able to dispense it gently . Any biases one might have are respected and as a result one is able to learn and enjoy the results . Truly a place worth visiting if you’re into audio .

Kudos to the Commercial Electronics team - their service in helping me to select and purchase a Sonos home audio system was always professional, competent and friendly - and, when supply chain and technical issues arose they were imaginative and persistent in finding solutions.

I have been a loyal customer of Commercial Electronics for years and I just love the new location. I recently upgraded my system and checked out all of the 'usual suspects' in Vancouver. I couldn't help going back to Commercial Electronics. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It seems to me that most of the salesmen really want to help and find the right product. There seems to be only one guy who will really give you the hard sell. If you don't like that, ask for someone else. The rest of the sales guys will spend hours of time with you demoing every speaker, amp or TV until you find exactly what you're looking for.

Outstanding audiophile specialists in the Ultra Hi-Fi audio space. I was well received and provided service above and beyond my highest expectations. The indefinite time spent assessing their range of headphones allowed me to identify a pair that conformed with my specific listening appeal. The warm accommodation is praiseworthy with each visit, unbiased, and after store hours one time. Will do business here again in the future and looking forward to do it.

Very helpful and personable!  Found a better quality mic than the Blue Yeti Pro I ordered on Amazon 3 months ago which wasn't delivered.  Recommended where I could get an audio interface, too!

This store is great,its like a livingroom of high end, awesome gear, if you love music you won't beleive your ears, sounds fantastic, video as well, everybody should come ,and check it out, and the only place in Vancouver that was willing to go the extra mile to help me get the headphones I was looking for. I tried 15 other Electronics stores, including the Big chains, and they all couldn't, wouldn't, or didn't even give me the time of day. I first contacted the store online, and received a reply quickly from John, that he would do his best to order it for me,so I made arragements to come in to the store for a consultation the next day, I was very well recieved by John Foster, he looked into all my concerns, and took the time to be thorough, very friendly, and nice, execellent customer service,so thanks to John&John Foster,great job.

I wanted someone to set up my home theater. I had purchased the equipment elsewhere, mostly online. They didn’t stock the projector or speakers I wanted and the quote on the pre/pro was $500 more $3000 vs $2500 than another vendor. The work involved replacing a projector , adding 2 new speakers, and running a cable between the main floor and my basement. They said they could do it but would need to come and make an onsite inspection to give me an accurate quote. The time was agreed upon a week before the date scheduled and I had to take time off work to be at home for this. 15 minutes AFTER the technician was to arrive, I receive an email saying he didn’t think an inspection would be necessary and the work would take 2 full days at a price that was double what I had been quoted from someone else. I was not impressed.
