!!!Scam alert!!! Beware of this store and their other locations. They claimed they have a 6 months warranty on their items but would not refund a defective item. The video quality was poor, the sound didn’t work.
The worst customer service ever!!!!! I came in to buy a camera but the sales person Brady was too lazy to show me how the app works. Because they have no return and no exchange policy, it was important to make sure that it works. He couldn’t upload an app for the camera I wanted to buy and tried to sell me another more expensive camera. When he saw that I wasn’t interested in his expensive camera he told me to leave the store. What a jerk!
We originally purchased cameras from Amazon and they didn't work. Our agency needed really good security cameras for our investigators and the cameras we purchased from the spy store worked great!! The customer service was awesome and they knew their stuff. Don t believe the cameras from Amazon and E bay are the same although they look similar. Buy from a real store!!!
Stayed open a little later for me to be able to get there in time to grab a couple pepper sprays for my wife and some friends. Amazing service! Brady is super helpful. Please go check them out if you need pepper spray! They also a bunch of super sweet gadgets too!
I should of looked this place up before I went in. I was kind of smiling thinking that I was the only one the older guy owner ? was rude at. No, it seems not, he was very rude, does not seem to care if you spend money or not here. I am not rich and to charge my purchase and I am not a techno girl and I tried to explain but didn’t care, especially when you need help in your personal life. If someone does enter my place or not, something I always wanted to purchase for awhile. No help, did not care, very poor customer service. The other young guy working there seemed nice but I only encountered briefly. As for the owner, I’m sorry if I say this and I know he has my info my name but he looks a bit red in the face, maybe my imagination but he should change his attitude or calm down, looks like a stroke waiting to happen,
The store is operated by 2 idiots! They don’t know how to sell nor how to provide professional customers service.They create fake accounts and give themselves 5 stars. Losers!!!
Don't expect a proper response from all the people working here. My recent experience was terrible; as I asked the person inside "when will you be open again?" He looked around as if someone was watching him and then replied "In the future". So, rather redundant so far to ask any questions. I also had to ask when they will be open again as their sign stated they were currently open but the door was locked, so it appeared they were having a lunch break. Hopefully they had a coffee to wake them up so later they could provide proper answers to customers. As for their products, you might as well go online as this store was nearly empty-ironically the employee also recommended online as opposed to their store!
I totally agree that this location Broadway & Burrard has the most appalling customer service. I live right by this store and went in to buy a digital clock. There are two guys in the store. One older and one younger. the older guy is just not helpful and could care less if you buy or not. The funny thing is, I actually read a lot of reviews about this store before I went in since it was pretty close to me. I always thought that there are two sides to every story and there is no way a person will be rude for no reason, especially when you're buying things from them. But yes, the older guy in this store is pretty rude and not helpful at all. I would definitely NEVER buy anything from this particular location. This company has another location in North Van on Marine Dr. Though this is a bit out of my way, I went here. The owner of this store is FANTASTIC. It's like night and day from the Broadway location. He was helpful and asked a lot of questions so he can recommend the right product. Also, I bought the product and it did not function properly after 2 months and I went back to him and he exchanged it for me. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND going to this location if you're going to buy anything from this company.
I'm blown away by how rude and arrogant these staff members were. I'm honestly stunned. Are the staff trying to destroy the business for the owners? Is that what's going on? I can think of no better explanation as to why they would be such ****s. Wow! The dude seemed quite annoyed by being taken away from whatever he was doing on the computer and audibly sighed as he walked over to me in his socks but no shoes. It went way downhill from there.
Sold me defective product refused to exchange it
