Great place for take out wings! They have some unique flavours and some of the spiciest wings around. If you like your spice, then you should try their Jaffna Town or Suicide Blues. They have some pretty reasonable specials, which definitely helps in trying out different wing flavours.
Super nice, crisp wings! I tried the ranch sauce and it was just perfect. Highly recommend if you live in the area or just passing.
I decided to try this place out as I've heard excellent things about their food. I ordered 1lb of medium wings, mexican fries and a colonel roast chicken - it was DELICIOUS. The roast chicken was one of the best tasting dishes I've had. The wings were perfect, great size and tasty. The fries are a must to pair with any chicken dish. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this place and will be back soon. Keep up the great work!
I was really excited to try this place as I'm a big wing eater. Its basically what I order everywhere I go. So when I saw a local wing shop open up I had to try it. Popped by today for My first time and ordered a single wing combo. I asked for a substitution for my fries. Instead I wanted sweet potato fries. Just for a single wing combo with sweet potato fries I was charged over 24 dollars . I never received a sales receipt so im not sure why it was so expensive instead I received my debit receipt which simply stated how much i paid. Taking my order to go was a mistake. When I opened my to go container when I got home, I see 8 tiny wings and a order of regular fries. This was in itself disappointing as I know I paid extra for the sweet potato fries. Neither the wings or fries were anything special. Ive honestly had better wings from a pizza place. Was very disappointed and will not be returning.
Colonel Wings Inc is a new restaurant that took over Stuttering Johns location in downtown Bowmanville. From first glance across the street. The impression the restaurant gives off is a fresh look that is very welcoming. After stepping into the establishment, I got a familiar sense that I was in a burger joint but with chicken instead. On the menu they had lots of selections and daily deals to choose from which I didn’t find confusing. I was invited by a friend of mine. I ordered a pound of wings “spicy island flavour” and a poutine. Which turned out to be very delicious. I dine in the restaurant and enjoyed the leafs games. I give this small restaurant a five start rating for cleanliness/food/ and customer service. The employees are friendly and very thorough about the daily deals. I will return. I recommend this place to anyone who loves your chicken.
We were really excited try colonel wings especially with the great reviews, however the wings were dry probably over cooked, the sandwiches were so bad they were inedible, the the fries and onion rings were just average. And even with the deals the meals were not cheap. Nothing special about this place. If you want good wings and food in general go to Castle Johns in Newcastle.
Due to the current circumstances, both St. Louis and Montana's were closed. My wife and I were really craving wings, and we're so glad we decided to try this place. The wings were hot and crispy, and were sauced perfectly, and the price is amazing! I think we found our forever wing spot in Bowmanville
These guys make the best wings ever!! I'm a huge wing guy and Colonel Wing's delivers every time. Best flavor, lots of choices and overall a great wing place. So happy Bowmanville finally has a place that sells awesome chicken wings. Keep up the good work boys!! I'll be back for more
Came here Saturday night , ordered 2 sandwiches and 1 pound of wings. Loved it , everything tasted great , still hot when we arrived home. The owners seem like 2 honest guys making food at a good price. I'll be back for sure! Support local!
This was our first time trying Colonel Wings and it was pretty good, but a couple improvements could be made. We ordered wings sweet and sour with fries and a chicken quesadilla and onion rings. The wings didn’t taste like sweet and sour and they were dry, which is the last thing wings should be! The chicken in the quesadilla was very good but it was far too saucy and nowhere near enough cheese. For one I could barely taste there was any cheese in it, and secondly cheese is like the glue in a quesadilla and without the cheese it was a massive mess to eat. The entire thing just falls apart because it’s not stuck together. Portion was very big though for $10 so with a normal amount of cheese it’d be perfect. The fries and onion rings were great! $6 for a huge container of onion rings so the price was good. A couple minor changes here and I’d be happy to keep coming back.
