From the moment I walked in the door I knew this was the perfect spot to get food and out of the snow. The service was amazing. All of the staff checked on me, not just my bartender. They have a spot away from the bar area that is family friendly. It was a steady crowd and not overcrowded. The menu had something for everyone. I got the goat cheese appetizer and it was amazing. My teen boys had the Bavarian sampler which they enjoyed. I had an old fashioned and a Snow white's demise. Both drinks were absolutely amazing. I tried to recreate the cider drink and it just wasn't as good as they made it. Definitely stop in and check it out. The door is right next to another restaurant and you have to go upstairs.
The food was great! A couple dollars more but worth it, much better atmosphere. The pork schnitzel was amazing! The spatzel with mushroom bacon gravy was fantastic! Pretzel was okay, a little dry and salty. The Seattle Dog had picked onions and we thought they would be better just caramelized. Our server Megan S was wonderful!!
Best burger I’ve ever had! The bun was crispy, burger was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the most delicious pork belly bacon on top . Also Colchuck’s had a great vibe that fit in perfectly with the quaint town of Leavenworth. German chocolate martini was delicious and spatzel was incredible. Really liked the patty melt and the fries were nice and hot. Only complaint would be our server. I also wouldn’t get the pretzel. It wasn’t bad but just nothing special for the price. Definitely recommend giving Colchuck’s a try.
Cute place but kind of cramped in the area we sat in. Service was fast despite how busy it was. Food was good and the portions are huge! 2 of my kids split a bacon burger, I didn't even finish half of my reubin but I'm tiny, and my boyfriend barely finished his. They only had one dessert and were out of buttered rum.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
A nice place with a good selection of cocktails. The staff was very friendly and gladly accommodated our customisation on the orders. The pretzels were good and I tried the sausage sampler plate. The place seemed very busy but we were lucky to get a seat very soon. The decor is good and I would definitely come back and try their burgers.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: No
We called to reserve a table but they only have first come first serve. But we got a table right away when we get there. We had had burgers here before and loved them. This time we ordered the same thing: Le Royale. For some reason this time it is not as delicious - a little too sweet, the patty is not as juicy. But overall it’s still good.
Nice environment and great service. The schnitzel was flavourful, but the purple cabbage had so much sugar and cinnamon that it tasted like apple pie. Not for me. The burger was a standout, quite a thick Kobe beef pattie and nice bold flavours. Fries were crispy with a spicy dusting. Overall, nice family restaurant and okay value. Not sure how authentically German the food is, but it hits the spot when you’re hungry.
we love coming here, great service, hearty servings as well. we had the impossible burger, kids chicken strips, bacon burger, the Jager schnitzel, two buttered rums. and hot chocolate. Reasonable pricing and cute dinning area. The bacon on the bacon burger was legit! super thick pieces
Salty goat drink was so good. Refreshing break from beer! Easy, not busy place to stop in when you're hangry - service was quick after ordering food. Staff was a bit too chatty with each other, seemed like many people just waiting for help with ordering and such. All around great though. Vegetarian options: Veggie/impossible burger option as a sub for any burger on the menu! Kid-friendliness: Non- bar options for family friendly seating Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free bun option
A nice place to eat although bit crowded during lunch hours but even you get the table within 20 mins. They have very good options to eat. Even for the vegetarians, they can modify the sausage or burger and add veggie patty. Please do not try winter drink noddy toddy as it tastes like a tea but other drinks werequite good.
