I was moving in from Alabama which for me was an 11 hour drive and I knew no people in the area. I got conformation from the boss, Chris that my start date was good to go so I signed a lease for an apartment in the area. A week later I learned that even after saying that the start date for me was good to go, he decided on his own that it wasn’t and hired someone else. He ended up making me waste a ton of money buying off the lease I signed on an apartment because he stripped away the only income I would’ve had moving there. He also made me delay moving away like I wanted to for almost a decade now from Alabama because I ended up putting a down payment on a car to move there. So I ended up having to get a job in Alabama again to pay off my loan for the car
