Came here to kill some time while my mom was having a procedure done at the Cross. I got a cappuccino and the egg bowl. Both were incredible! Lots of pepper on the potatoes, which I love. The staff at the counter were very kind and friendly. I loved the mix of music.
Superb food, didn't realize pizza could be a breakfast item but it was so fabulous. The small is enough for 2 or 3 meals depending on your morning hunger!
Very friendly and helpful service. I have a lot of allergies but got the breakfast twice here with no issues, they have a lot of gluten free menu items and use quality brands which is always nice to see. Very reasonable price and good size breakfast, 10/10 recommend if you are staying in the area.
Definitely an underrated place to eat! Pizza is really good and so are the sandwiches. Service is really quick which makes it nice if you're walking over on a lunch break. Coffee is good too and the atmosphere is nice
Staff and drinks were okay. However we got the classic breakfast and the Italian hero. The breakfast itself was bad, the eggs were rubbery and inedible, the bacon overcooked and the hashbrowns cold. The Italian hero sub was extremely greasey and the meat inside was rubbery and tasted old, had to pick them out to.
I would happily commit a war crime for one of their sandwiches. Coffee is great, service is always fast and friendly. Hands-down my favourite lunch spot.
Decent spot for coffee near campus!
Unless you're a student, this is not the best location for a coffee meeting as it is very hard to find a place to park here. I parked in a nearby guest parking and took my chances to walk over here to grab a to-go drink. I ordered a chai latte and was slightly surprised when it was only a tea bag in the steamed milk. It did taste like a chai latte, but the tea bag must've broken or something as there were bits of tea in my drink which I didn't like the texture of. As a coffee shop this place is a little confusing because there is a beer fountain, and an entire lunch bar at the back. I'm not sure if there are two different businesses here or just one. I came here in the late morning but the bakery display looked pretty bare, and the lunch bar didn't look like it was open. There's some art for sale on the walls which I assume are from university students which is nice.
Never been disappointed here. The Italian hero is the best pizza sub I ever had. And the latter frappe is even better than Starbucks, in my opinion. 10/10Food: 5/5
Staff were lovely and the cafe is very nice. Unfortunately the eggs in my breakfast wrap were not cooked through and I was unable to eat it. The americano I purchased was very weak and didn’t have much flavour. I would suggest specifying your egg prep preference if you eat here.
