They seem to genuinely care about their clients and their pets. They even called me to help alleviate my concerns and provide additional information about my elder pet's dental surgery. Every question I asked they answered patently and at no time did I ever feel pressured which hasn't been my experience with some other vets in the area. When I picked him up I could tell they took good care of him. My experience with them is that they are compassionate and professional.

Thre staff were very friendly and the doctor was very polite and gentle with my kitty. He was able to calm her down and distract her almost effortlessly. Only reason ours not 5 stars is the wait time. I was 4 minutes late for my appointment, granted, but then I waited about 20 or 30 minutes to see the doctor.

The staff and Dr. Tounkara are fantastic. They are great at responding to my questions over the phone when I call, and are very nice and caring. When my kitten cut his paw open they got him in for an appointment the next day without charging any emergency fees, and when he tore his stitches we again booked a last minute appointment the next day to get it fixed, and he didn’t even charge us for the visit. I would definitely recommend this clinic!

Dr. Karim is so thorough and has such a calm and assertive energy - my pandemic pup was instantly in love and compelled to good behaviour with him. We were given time to ask questions and generally learned more as a pet parent. The rest of the staff were also friendly and made us feel welcome and comfortable.

This is one of the best vets we have ever known. Dr. Tounkara is caring, smart, and really enjoys what he does. He gives you the straight goods and doesn't overcharge or recommend unnecessary procedures. His small staff are equally simpatico. He has taken care of three of our dogs and we wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Dr. Karim is an excellent Vet. Our dog had 18 teeth removed and didn't even need stitches. He was eating a few hours after surgery and was completely himself, almost as if nothing happened. He has recovered so fast and has twice the energy he used to. He was always very energetic. The clinic is also incredibly affordable compared to everywhere else we saved at least 30%. Won't be going to any other clinic ever again.

My cat was scared till he met the vet. Instant friend. They were polite and listened to our concerns. He suggested trying non-medical solutions first. If not, we'll do treatments. Very smart and very reasonable prices. I would suggest that everyone go there, but then the waiting time would be crazy.

The staff is very friendly, caring and understanding. The staff always has answers for any of my concerns, they will always give me a call back for updates on my cats. The Veterinarian is very personable, professional and knowledgeable . I’ve been going for a few visits now and I was very pleased with my experience. I highly recommend this clinic.

This is a wonderful and caring vet clinic. The whole staff and Dr. Tounkara are kind and helpful. At no point did I feel gouged or pushed into unnecessary procedures. Special mention to the Dr though, as he clearly had a gift. I was really nervous about my kitten's operation but they did a great job taking care of both me and Monkee.

I haven’t looked back since finding Dr.Tounkara! I have 1 dog and 2 cats and he is so great with all 3 of them. The staff is very friendly, professional and bilingual. The pricing is fair, and they provide great service. I definitely recommend Clinique Veterinaire-Lac Leamy!
