I have been going there for a few years for my dogs and cat. Always had good service and staff was nice and polite. I used to see the same veterinarian all the time and in the past few months I went with any veterinarian that was available and was very pleased with 3 of the veterinarians that examined my animals. We’re able to provide good advised, checked up on animal by calling me, etc. I would work a bit on timing of visit when animal has to go back. Example: my dog had to take an antibiotic for 2 weeks but veterinarian wanted to see him after 1 week which added extra costs. That happened 2 times in the same treatment period and I ended up canceling my last appointment because it became too expensive to pay for the visit when he was not done the antibiotics. Nothing to say about the rest. Overall always good experiences!

Went for a consultation in July and the vet said it was too soon to give her her needles. I was told to come back in December and she would only charge for the needles since I just paid for a consultation. Today Dec 20 I took her back to get her shots and attempted to confirm that I wasn't going to be charged a consultation fee when I was brought in the room. The tech told me to wait while she confirms, then comes in saying it should be OK and asked I I had any concerns which I didn't. Then another tech comes in and proceeded to do a consultation, check her ears and temp.. When it comes time to pay there was a consultation fee of about 42$.. I proceeded let the receptionist know that I wasn't supposed to be charged a consultation fee she said *oh that's just a consultation from a technician so it's only 42$ instead of 100 something*. I wasn't even told that's what they were going to do.. had I known I would have just rescheduled until the spring.. it's not the season for unexpected expenses.

If I could no stars, these heartless vets, my dog of 11 was dying right in front of me so I called to have the pet put down because he so suffering, told to make an appointment for $100 consultation fee, anyone could see his days were done, then told to go to Ottawa emergency clinic. The clinic in Val Tetreau the same as well as Plateau, my god they are worse than the Hull Hospital

Terrible terrible client service at the front desk. When you are on a waiting list and they call you they dont even wait until you call back to say yes or no they call another person. They are money hungry it used to be a great clinic now it is a money grab. Certains de leurs employées sont effrontrées.

I've been going to this clinic since the late 80's and always had good services towards my pets and myself over the years! All the staff are awesome and Dr. J. Kader is my vet at this time and he's been nothing but knowledgeable, patience and kind. Well recommended!

Best staff and vet hands down! Dr. Karim is a sweetheart and has such a way with animals. We have had over 10 pets and always come here for the best care. Vet techs, assistants, and administrative staff are also so heartwarming and provide excellent care and service.

Since the merge, the management and front reception service is off-putting. No one answers the phone, they change the time of your appointment, and you have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for an appointment. The place seems like a factory, churning through as many pets as possible. I can't even imagine how this would impact someone with a sick animal, as it is very frustrating with a healthy one.

Dr. Tounkara is the best veterinarian I have ever encountered. He is extremely talented and diagnosed my dog with an ailment that no vet was able to diagnose in the past. He is one of the best vets in Ottawa/Gatineau. For those complaining about the cost of medication at this clinic, you can ask for a prescription and get it filled at any online pet pharmacy or even a human pharmacy for half the price.

I was very disappointed with my services here. The prices were outrageous and the service was lacking. I brought my cat to get spayed and asked about the healing process. The vet said, “cats are like cows, she will heal the next day”. The well being of my cat was not in the vets best interest. He was trying to make fun of my serious inquiries. Due to covid, my appointment for the spay was canceled. They never followed up about making a new appointment. When restrictions were lifted, I would expect they’d contact their clients with canceled appointments as a proper service call... Since I was already feeling very uncomfortable with all my services there, I started contacting other vets. I found one where the price was HALF the price of this vet. I received impeccable service. They answered all questions and printed off helpful tips. I decided to use the same vet for my dog. My dog was experiencing some skin irritations so they prescribed me some medication and a week later called me to follow up on how the medication was working. This was amazing service. The vet actually noticed something that the previous vet at Hull ignored. I recall the vet committing on the issue but doing no further test. It had since worsen... if she had noticed something, she should have done her job better. It could have been dealt with before it got so bad... It seemed as though the vets at Hull want to finish their job and get on with the day. Much better vets out there. I would gladly suggest the vet I am with now if anyone wishes
