I loved the projector display walls. It kept my kids entertained and has a very modern vibe. The service was amazing and very attentive. We enjoyed the prawn cracker nachos and the wings a lot! Very crispy and flavourful. The house made noodles with beef brisket was very savoury I even asked for extra soup. Very filling and loved the broth. I usually don’t think Asian fusion works but the flavours and atmosphere was very enjoyable. The place was very clean and it was not busy at all when we visited.
I think this is one of those understated places to go. The food is amazing - modern Asian cuisine at its best! All the noodles are homemade, very tasty, a whole new dining experience that won’t break your budget. A great place for celebrations - Karaoke available with plenty of parking.Parking spacePlenty of parkingParking optionsFree parking lot
Flavor combinations were outstanding! Atmosphere and interior were very pleasant, servers made sure we had everything we needed. Great dining experience! Highly recommended!Food: 5/5
This is one of the best Asian cuisine restaurants in the NW, I wish that I’d discovered it sooner. There was plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. The interior design is modern, hanbok-style and gorgeous as it has high ceilings, beautiful lighting as well as projector moving murals on the walls similar to the Van Gogh exhibit which changed periodically as well. The service was exceptional as the server checked on us plenty throughout our meal and gave suggestions on sauce pairings. The food was very unique, and unlike any other Chinese restaurants in the city. I especially loved the thick cut Mala stir fry noodles, grilled cod and rice cracker nachos which had steak bits in them. I will definitely be coming back here.
Before I get into this - I must say this is an underrated and must try gem in Calgary and one of the better dining experiences I’ve had in YYC! It is such a vibe inside, my friends and I stayed for 2hrs after we finished eating just chatting and talking it was just so comforting and nice. As for the food, I’d want to try the whole menu after what we tried because WOW the plating and flavour combinations were perfection. Here’s everything we tried: GRILLED & BRAISED PORK SPARERIB $27: Bokchoy, Fregola pasta, Shimji Mushrooms. So much flavour and the Fregola pasta was delicious, I’ve never had this and it was super good. The pork was perfection and tender. PRIME RIB CHIMICHURRI $37: Fregola pasta, Shimiji Mushrooms, Mix green, Asian Chimichurri sauce, demi jus. Incredible, the prime rib was tender and fatty but the perfect amount and the flavours of everything just paired so well. I loved the veggie component of every dish it really elevated the flavours. ASIAN STYLE SLAW $12: pickled daikon, romaine, red onion, cucumber, carrots, seaweed, sesame oil, garlic, black vinegar, fried starch noodles.. So fresh and good, the dishes are quite flavourful and a salad like this was the perfect palette cleanser. DONGPO CHICKEN WINGS 1 LB $14: 1lb of chicken wings with a ginger garlic sauce, black vinegar, fried scallions, ginger. Flambé with Er Guo Tou Chinese liquor at the table. These were our favourite! They’re so crunchy, juicy and flavourful! SZECHUAN DAN DAN NOODLES $16: Pork Stew Sauce, Sesame Sauce, Szechuan Hot Sauce Cucumber with Hand Made Noodle. Wow another incredible dish, so much flavour in this! We tried the Deep Fried Milk & Castella for dessert! We were truly obsessed with the execution and flavour of every dish - what a good spot! For the price as well, the flavour and quality of food is .
I can’t believe I didn’t find this place earlier, it’s quickly become one of my favourite restaurants in the NW. I absolutely loved the atmosphere created by the projectors and the service was quick, attentive, and kind. I very much enjoyed their modern twists on Chinese food and their Chinese twists on other cultures cuisines! My favourite dish was the mala roasted beef with wide noodles!! The strong mala taste with the chewy wide noodles and tender roast beef always makes me come back to clay pot.
It wasn’t the place we were planning to eat but stumbled across it near our hotel. And I’m so glad we did! The atmosphere is nice with the animated screens on the wall. The servers were attentive and friendly. And the food was outstanding. The beef lettuce wrap was delicious. 10/10!
When the host came to ask me how the hot soup I ordered was, I told her that it was not only mouthwatering but also nose watering! This place is the best and needs more attention! Let’s help them to not only do well but also thrive! Keep up the great work guys! If it’s easy everyone would be doing it! Cheers, Raj
Quality ingredients, innovative recipes, and great service. The beef noodle soup is the real star. I worked in Shanghai and tried the best beef noodle restaurants there. This one takes me right back to Shanghai without the long haul flight! Don't forget the chili oil for the most authentic experience.Food: 5/5
The food here is so good! Price is very fair and the atmosphere is great. We came to celebrate our friend's birthday and it was acknowledged by staff and got a cheesecake. Great service. Will come back again with family next time!!Food: 5/5
