Chili Hut

Pretty good food for Canadian Chinese restaurant, food is fresh, meat is tender, it's not as authentic as local Sichuan restaurant, but it's good enough for me. Yum yum. But they do need cold drink and ice lol.

Overall good Sichuan food. Spicy chicken has bones and deep fried. For people who prefer no bones, you may want to ask a different version. Water boil fish has big portion. Parking could be difficult at times. There is a underground parking for the plaza and is free. Just remember to ask the restaurant for the code to go back in the parking from outside.

Over all food were great. Could have given a 5 star. But the server was gone the whole time. They only showed up bring food to the table and ready for bill. No one came around asking how was the food taste. May come back for the food, service needs improvement. Byeeeeeeee

Reasonable price with tasty Szechuan food. Customer service need to be improved. Like seriously they should have check if we need more water or anything. Definitely come back for food but maybe for takeout!

One of the best orthodoxy Szechwan food restaurant in Calgary. Unlike most typical Chinese restaurant, foods on their menu all have a decent portion enough for two adults. Great package when you need takeaway. When I got home I found my bags of food flipped over on back seat yet not a single drop of broth leaked out. Impressive experience, 10/10 would visit again!

I tried Chili Hut for the first time via take out. It was well packaged, and arrived in great condition. We ordered 4 dishes and they were all great! The portions were great, the meat was delicious, and everything was made with quality ingredients. I wish the dishes were spicier… perhaps that’s something you can ask for when dining in. So happy to have found this restaurant!

I got the water boiled fish for takeout from here. Definitely met my expectations. Very authentic and great portion size too. Staff were also very polite and efficient. The selection is lacking but at least the dishes were tasty enough to make up for it.

Their cumin lamb is on another level. Cumin is extremely underrated in western foods, so I am happy to experience it's potential. Amazing food, big space for larger groups, parking can be tricky when busy. Parking: One way parking lot both above and below ground. Free parking with a QR code located IN the business.

Simple decor, straightforward service, great taste. Asked for a higher spice which was a decent level but would have also liked a lot more Szechuan peppercorns. Look forward to trying some of the other dishes.
