I spent 2 weekends here. It's very peaceful and rustic. The only activity is nature related, hiking, trail walks, no pools or activities. Nice bath house, clean. Very tight fit for trailers, maybe 20 foot max.

I can't speak for the rest of the state forest but I took the Pine Cobble trail from Williamstown MA up to the summit. The result was amazing views of Williamstown and North Adams. It took me about 1 hr to make it to the top. Along the way there are signs showing you where you can connect to the Appalachian Trail. 
Coming down I had the assistance of gravity and decided I could run down. That was when I twisted my ankle a bit and had to walk/hobble the rest of the way. The trail is very rugged so watch your step. Great short hike.

Awesome adventures in the woods, don't swim though they have leeches!  Ew!

Nice quiet park to have a picnic or take a quiet hike, had the privilege of working here and got to explore most of the park, very well maintained but unfortunately not much for swimming
