Camping here was a blast and Gordon and Patricia are wonderful owners. Gordon was RELENTLESS in his efforts to appease his guests...literally he was cleaning the bathroom at 12 o'clock at night. You can feel his love for his place. The camping is nice, easy, and the sites are well maintained. It's a big campground with a lot of people but it doesn't feel that way, and with future updates it will only get better.

Had our second visit to Hidden Valley for four nights starting 10/10/17. The new owner was very helpful and our site, #77 was quite nice but close to the adjacent sites. All the sites have electricity, potable water and graywater hookups. There is a black water dump at the camp entrance and the owner offers a black water pump out at your site. The campground is close to many places to visit and there is great hiking on Mt Greylock for hikers of all abilities. The scenery is gorgeous. There is only one bathroom which could use some updating. We were there mid-week, after school was open so it certainly wasn't crowded. I suspect it could be during the summer. We would certainly return again.

Under new ownership. They keep it in nice condition. Seems like more of an RV spot come fall.

I cannot say enough good things about this campground. I almost don't want to provide a review, as I'm worried it will lead to an increase in the number of campers and a more difficult time finding a spot. However, this is one of the nicest campground we've visited. The sites are huge and spaced far enough apart where you shouldn't see your neighbors if you don't want to. The new owners are wonderful and accommodating. The campground is in great condition, but you can see the new owners are hard at work making improvements. Currently in the works are a dog park and a new playground. If you're looking to camp in Western Mass, you can't go wrong here. Close to Lenox, Tanglewood, and Adams, you can't go wrong here.
