Peppermint Park Camping Resort

Story

Peppermint Park Camping Resort is located on 80 acres of wooded and grassy hillside in the Berkshire Hilltowns of Western Massachusetts. Our name pays homage to the production of peppermint oil as a local industry in the early 1800's. Although the dominant industry in the area today is tourism, our agricultural heritage comes alive each Spring with the maple sugaring which remains a very important part of the region’s character. Nestled in the famous Berkshires, with their cool breezes and alluring views, Peppermint Park provides an environment where families can experience carefree camping in a quiet, relaxing, clean and comfortable atmosphere.

Amazing rv campground, summer offers a pool and spa, winter camping is fun easy to grab pre bundled firewood if you want to have a campfire

On the surface, it's a cute little campground, but many sites are small and right on top of each other (unless you're lucky enough to get into the tent area), but worst of all, most of the staff (with the exception of Mary, who was very nice and helpful) are so rude! Unless you are a seasonal camper here, you will be treated like an outsider, threatened to be kicked out if they hear so much as a peep out of you, and stalked. We just wanted a peaceful weekend in the Berkshires, but the staff at Peppermint Park made us feel like unwelcome outsiders. Suffice it to say we will not be back.

It's a great place! Big sites, and very clean bathrooms all around. The people are all so pleasant. My family loves it!

They gave my site up to another person after I put deposit down . They didn't even let me know how rude . I was very disappointed.

I love it. I'm seasonal there. And I am absolutely amazed at how well they take care of the camp
