Berkshire East Mountain Resort

We definitely visited on an "off" day for whitewater rafting. Basically the only visitors that day. The staff was awesome. Also, the lunch provided was pretty good! Build your own sandwiches, pasta salad, chips, salsa, cookies. Not too bad. Rafting itself was nothing too intense. Some class IIs and one III. It was fun for a day trip. I don't think it was "intense", but like I said, it was an off day.

The staff here are amazingly happy and helpful! We did the Aerial Adventure and the Mountain Coaster. We showed up an hour before anything started and walked around a bit looking at the Aerial Adventure setup, I wasn't too sure this would be one of my better ideas... It looked quite daunting! The staff were AMAZING! They are very encouraging, cheering you on, talking you through each of the sections, Cam even offered to go up on one to show a boy how to do one of the sections! There are 2 levels, you can do both (after some quick, efficient training) or just 1. I did lower level and that was enough of a challenge for me. My husband did upper level and even though he is much more accustomed to being in a harness dangling in the air, and is much more fit than I, he still thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm not sure I would have made it through without the kindness and patience of the staff though!!! It was AWESOME!

Flew North to visit family and did a day in Thunder Mountain bike park. Every employee I encountered was super friendly and helpful since I'd never been there before. The trails were absolutely awesome and I'm definitely going back asap.

This is a great place for both fall and summer adventures. We took in the amazing fall foliage and awesome mountain coaster. We can not wait to come back for zip lining.

Burke Mountain. What a place. I had so much fun here. The new hotel they build is immaculate and so conveniently located right on the mountain. The trails were completely hero dirt, the jump lips crisp as a cucumber, the staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Might be my favourite bike park. Can't wait to return.
