Some of the best Chinese food we have had in our end of Edmonton so far!! Food was hot and fresh. Delivery guy was polite and followed covid guidelines. Was able to pay with credit at the door. Will definitely be a repeat restaurant for our house.
5 stars is a hard review to give but 4 stars isn’t quite enough. You get massive portions, everything is fresh and wonderfully cooked. Flavours are all there. We have ordered from them for years, a few times each year and have always had consistent service. Happy to support a local business that really cares about the patrons.
This place has been here and is owned and operated by the same family for many years. I appreciate the kind lady who promptly gives me service. I heard stories of how she gave a family of seven a free meal because the mother couldn’t pay for her children’s food. For traditional “Western style” Chinese food I would recommend.
Been ordering here for at least 20 years, since new management you get far from what you pay for. We thought this time we would get the deluxe for 2.cost us $50 after tip, we received 10 pieces of szechuan beef that was cold and the veggies were sparse to say the least. As well our special fried rice tastes like it was made last week. When I phoned to tell them this in a polite manner the lady said "no way" next time you order we will give you10% off. This is how they treat people. I would truly stay away. Unless you like getting ripped off of your hard earned money when your hungry
Love the food here. We've been loyal customers for almost 20 years. We still get our Chinese food here even after moving to another part of the city. The food is excellent quality and tastes fantastic.
Good place to eat. Chicken in my chicken fried rice was a little cold could've been fried for a couple more minutes but the rice held its own as it was fried to near perfection all in all good place the waiter kept coming back with water and asking how my meal was going so that's got to be a plus right ? Its local near where I am so thats another good thing I recommend trying it for yourself i am rating this establishment a 3.5 out of 5 stars and hope on improvements on my next trip done memory lane.
This place is amazing. Food was extremely hot and delicious. We had an older lady serve us and she was one of the greatest ladies ever! It was just buddy of mine there and she was so grateful for our service! When we bagged it to go she even gave us free rice to eat later! It was like being at my grandma's house. Hordes of food and conversation come your way!
As a hospitality professional I am amazed at what happened yesterday. So when they dropped the bill at our table, I left my cash payment with a tip on the table and we start getting up slowly, putting on our jackets, I turn back and start saying thank you... It was delicious...the usual... They start yelling in Chinese that I didn't pay and run towards me, even as I'm telling them the money is on the table. Why would I be thanking you and taking so slow to leave, I've never stolen from anyone, and no offense if we were dine and dashing you'd never see it happen... that's pretty insulting... I won't be eating there again, I recommend you don't as well. Just clueless hospitality. How dare you assume I'm a thief, if you want me to pay at the counter then say that to me when you drop the bill, start using your broken English. I've never felt so insulted in a restaurant, and hope it gets exactly what it deserves.
Went for dinner with husband and 2 yr old to dine in tonight. Reminded us of an old fashioned prairie Chinese restaurant! The lady working was very friendly and so sweet to our son - very accommodating : we ordered green onion cake, Singapore noodle, Szechwan vegetables and beef & broccoli. It was good - we were presently surprised. All together with a beer and pop, before tip: $44 bucks. We'll be back.
