I typically shop at the location in Rosemere, but a friend recommended this location to me. I went there on the morning of November 15, 2022, I was looking around at this location, had a tuque in my hand, changed my mind, put it back where I found it and started to leave, when an older employee stopped me on my way out and asked to check my purse. I was embarrassed and appalled by the situation, and I opened my purse because I obviously had nothing to hide. I'm a parent who's almost 40, and the only time someone asks to check my bag is when I board an airplane or attend a concert. This has never happened to me before and I will never step foot in this store again and will take my business elsewhere. The employee who stopped me didn't even apologize for the accusation.
