I decided to give this place a second chance after a previous poor experience. There wont be a third, as i found the salsa to be souped up tomato sauce and when I asked for something hotter was handed a bottle of hot sauce. I had to ask for napkins and silverware and no one ever asked me how the meal was. Wamt to know?  Mediocre, but plentiful.

Carnitas were a solid 3.8/5 for sure. I'd recommend it on price and value... $3.50 coronas too

After having moved to Mauston from Albuquerque New Mexico, I was in search of a good restaurant in the area. Cinco De Mayo has definitely become my favorite eatery in Wisconsin.  If you like spicy foods,  I'd suggest the hot salsa (you have to ask for it). The Carnitas were amazing!!!
