Buckhorn Cafe

Highly recommend! We went there for the Friday fish and it was great! Our waitress was awesome and overall a pleasant atmosphere! This was our first visit and definitely not our last!

New owners. Removed rustic Up North atmosphere. Bartenders pour with a perfect level shot glass. I came here to get away from the city and it followed me. Relax folks. Pour a drink like you are from the area. Rules and regulations not required. Much improved on the menu however. Don't have to read War and Peace to decide what to eat. I will try again.

We don't like this place anymore. Second visit since new owners. Saturday at 1pm. Maybe a dozen customers and 5 servers. Menu is too limited. I really miss the perogi's. Food came out quick. Burgers were well done. We asked for medium. Fries were good. Never got the cheese curds but they were on the bill. Food served. No silverware, salad dressing, or napkins.

Got lost going to Kozy's Pizza and found Buckthorn Cafe. We had a couple of great old fashions and two char broiled New York strip steaks done perfectly to our request. We sat near the bar with the hunters and loved the "up north" ambiance. The extraverted wait staff checked on us regularly and the owner stopped by our table to inquire about our steaks. Great place that we would recommend maybe a little pricey but we definitely got what we paid for.
