CIBC Branch with ATM

First time at this branch. Greeter-Shelly was amazing, she went above and beyond to help me and even contacted the other branch to get some information. I can't tell you how much that meant. Normally, these days you get the go here, go there and get no where fast. Very pleasant staff!! Thanks a bunch!

I have avoided this branch for years due to incompetent staff but stopped in on a Saturday to get two tens and put the tap back on my debit card. They were locked out of their safe, so they had no cash on hand and my debit card was deactivated and did not work after they added tap to my card.nI went in today and a senior associate reactivated it. No apology, however, for my inconvenience. Avoid this branch.

I was frustrated by this bank at first but it boiled down to circumstances that the employees are unable to control. Some days long lineups are problematic due to customers with more complex banking requirements.. Good people work here and are doing the best they can. Five stars to the bank manager who is doing a great job filling in as required to keep things moving along during these times.

The tellers and one lady I have spoke with over the phone were great in trying to help. The bank manager calling me back one time after hours so I couldn't call back and not returning emails when cibc has decided to liquidate my child's account and won't let us withdraw the funds as per their instructions is ILLEGAL! I have being trying to reach you for over 6 weeks and no one else can help me. I NEED A CALL BACK FROM SOMEONE PLEASE!

The tellers don’t seem to know all the rules and they leave only ONE teller at the end of the day when everyone is off work and coming it. Why would you only leave one teller on during the busiest time of day? Don’t be cheap and keep another person on for another hour it took me 40 minutes to be seen because of this.
