The practice at this particular branch is just pathetic.. If I could give them less than 1 I would. They will suggest multiple ways of doing things, without telling you that there is fee associated. I asked if I could do a bank draft, or is there an easier and cheaper/free way of transferring money from their bank to another bank. The financial advisor who helped me, Sunil, said that yeah you can do bank transfer and its free. I had to ask him if there was a limit of 3000 per day, to which he said yes. Cool, free transfer but I need to wait 5 days or so to transfer my funds over to another bank? fine.. since I am not getting charged to transfer money this way. Come December 1, I see a charge of $6 for the bank transfers, and when I went to the bank to ask, the other financial advisor said oh its for the 4 banks transfers you did. $6 is not a lot of money, but it is the principle behind it that matters, had he told me that I would have been charged $1.50 per Etransfer, I would have reconsidered transferring it another way. When I asked why I was not told about these fees when the other financial advisor suggested the etransfer method, he had the audacity to say that they did not need to tell me about any fees unless I asked, even though the first advisor told me that it was free... I have had some good experience with other CIBC branches, but this experience in particular has made me choose to stop banking with them. Long post but I thought I should leave this review for anyone who plans on banking with that location. Even when they say something is free, they may not tell you some key requirement that you must meet in order to have that offer for free.

worst service I've ever had, the lady who was helping me had the audacity to ask how the person who stole my debit card used money from my account, it's 2017 im sure you know what interact flash is. Once again went again there was only one employee. She was very unprofessional, the line was short however i still had wait about 30 mins when there were only 3 other people in line.
