We ordered take out on a Friday night after driving 3 hours from Rochester. Our food wasn't ready yet when we walked in so the owner, Gunny, spoke with us and told us to sit at the bar for a drink on the house. I have never been treated so well at any restaurant! It was so nice. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside, the perfect ambiance for enjoying a night out to dinner.nThe food was the best Italian food I've had anywhere. The Fettuccine boscaiola and veal Marsala were to die for! So flavorful and large portion sizes to boot.nThe chocolate mousse cake was out of this world as well. Deeply chocolatey and smooth with a soft cake like crust. Yum!nThis place is a must go if you're in Monticello. Absolutely 10/10 on all fronts from service to the outstanding food.nnA huge thank you to Gunny the owner for being so kind and accomodating to us! It made my day. We will be back!
Food was excellent service was impeccable had the shrimp with angel hair pasta sauces really good the shrimp could have used some seasoning
Great service and food. Music was a bit louder than I would've preferred.nCaprese salad was on point and also had some phenomenal meatballs.
This is one of the best meals I’ve ever had! We got the meatball special, pollo martini, and rigatoni turi. Everything is made in fresh and in house so expect to take your time - can’t rush perfection. The vibe is laid back and its family owned. I will definitely be back!
I found this gem amongst restaurants on google maps while we were driving through the area. We lucked out!! This beautiful, gourmet, family-run Italian restaurant exceeded any expectations I could've had. The menu is huge plus half dozen appealing specials. We had very attentive service from four family members and other staff. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. For example, a sizable portion of Pollo marsala with starter salad $23, generous pour of Montepulciano $5. I'd definitely return given the opportunity. We dined Friday evening ~630pm. Restaurant was busy, we got the last table in the dining room but there were other tables available in the second room.
