Story

BHR has been serving great food to Sullivan County diners since 1963. The Resnick Family purchased the restaurant in 2011 and has continued the tradition. Serving up great Fish and Steak dishes with cutting edge specials every week. The restaurant underwent a full renovation when the Resnick's took over, and now has outdoor dining and a 180 seat catering hall. Come and see what has kept this place going since 1963.

Had my senior prom here back in 2012. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and a perfect place for private events. As a student officer and local high school student, I felt the owners were more than willing to make generous compromises in negotiating a price. We were given the entire restaurant for the night, including the beautiful outdoor patio which was converted to a dance floor. The servers and staff were friendly and helpful ensuring everything went smoothly. Located right off exit 109 in Rock Hill, this place has it all. I will definitely consider BHR for other events I'm hosting and/or organizing.

Nice place, good service and adequate parking. My wife and I had steak which was excellent. Steak was cooked to doneness requested, was tender and perfectly seasoned. Nice wine list with many at a reasonable price. All and all a good dining experience.

I wanted to like this place. Since it appeared to be one of the few decent restaurants in the middle of nowhere during winter that was open. I'm still trying to decide if the fried calamari, dripping with a cloying Wasabi sauce was fresh or frozen. The salmon topped with crabmeat had seen better days. I didn't get sick, but for two hour during the digestive period, it was 50-50 whether I was going to throw it up. Their signature dodge steak, was old , poorly presented and had seen better days. I know they can do better and they have, but not on this particular evening in the dead of Winter.

Visited BHR today - again. As always: great food, warm atmosphere, attentive staff. Simply the best! Val and Irene

The service was very good, our server was Richard. The food was delicious and the portions were satisfying!!
