We dined in at this location after coming straight from our work shift. We ordered a chicken meal combo and a burger, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing.nnThe moment the food arrived, there was a horrible smell of old oil. The food was overly greasy and completely cold — not a single item was hot or fresh. The taste was terrible. I barely took two bites before giving up and throwing the food away.nnWhen I went to inform the staff, I was told the food was made “5 minutes ago,” which did not match the quality or temperature at all. Instead of addressing the issue, one of the staff members gave me an unpleasant look, which made the situation even worse.nnOverall, this was a very poor experience, waste of my money and especially after a long work shift. Definitely not what you expect when dining out. Worst experience ever.
I live nearby, so this is my go to place for friend chicken. It's usually pretty busy at this location, but not crazy busy like the 41st and Fraser location. Service is ok, but my expectations aren't high to begin with. The chicken is consistent, which matters more to me. They do have some decent instore deals, which makes it a decent value. Nothing more to say, other than I prefer this over KFC down the block.
I ordered the 3 piece combo, the chicken tasted good. Staff seemed friendly, they did greet me once I arrived at the counter. There are some seats available, but not much. They also have a drive thru.
This was my very first time trying Church’s Chicken, and honestly, it turned into one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I was excited to finally taste their fried chicken, but to my shock and disgust, I actually found a piece of metallic foil embedded in the fried chicken skin while I was eating.nnImagine the feeling of biting into what should be crispy, juicy chicken, only to pull out something sharp and shiny that absolutely should not be there. It completely ruined my appetite and left me feeling upset and unsafe. Food safety should be the number one priority for any restaurant, but this experience showed me the complete opposite.nnI came in with expectations of enjoying a good meal, but instead I left with disappointment, frustration, and concern about how such a mistake could even happen in the kitchen. This is unacceptable and very unprofessional for such a big franchise.
I didn't really like the 'Honey Butter Biscuit' that came with the combo.nThe fries have a coating that isn't too nice either.nWas it real chicken in the 'tenders' or something else.nnI won't visit again
