El Gitano

We have eaten here for years and they have never disappointed us. The food is always, hot, delicious and served promptly. The service is excellent, from the hostess in the lobby, to the servers, the bar staff and of course, the chef! Tonight, once again they went out of their way to be kind and accommodating. We totally lost track of the time and called at 10:15 pm. to see if they could do a take out order. Their kitchen closes at 10:30 so, I was completely prepared to hear, sorry but no. That is not what they did at all. They said of course. They were so polite, it was awesome! If you want delicious food served with a smile and a great atmosphere , you need to go check these guys out. You won't be sorry you did!!!

This is hands-down my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Bellingham. They have fantastic food, large portions, and a fair price. I have never had poor quality food or service here. They are very consistent and always take very good care of their customers. I highly recommend this place.

This is a very family friendly restaurant. The food is well prepared and the service is quick. They are very good about keeping your chips and salsa filled.

We love coming to this restaurant. The food is always delicious and staff is beyond wonderful. The lunch menu goes until 5 p.m. which is really nice when you're hungry and it's after 3. They have a really nice kids menu also. We were there yesterday and it was extremely busy so we had a little bit of a wait for our food but with our hungry 2 year old starting to get fussy a server offered to bring him a little bowl of rice to hold him over while we waited. It was exactly what we needed to get us through and we appreciated her offer so much. We definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!
