This was once an OK downtown diner with its regulars and offered decent diner fare and diner prices. Now it's just some Arab dump with overpriced middle eastern junk food. The spits where meat is supposed to be freshly sliced from are always empty. It's all pre-frozen shipped in junk now. The burgers are undercooked. The fries aren't real potato fries, again, just pre-frozen crap you can get anywhere. The waitresses used to be local women and the service once decent enough to tip them. Now it's just surly old men who make it clear they despise you as a customer. They'll openly berate you if dare ask them to wash their hands before handling your food. They also close hours before their advertised hours of operation. All the regulars are gone. Just check it out. It's almost always empty. It's a shame since it was once such a downtown Hamilton institution and it's totally ruined now. Hopefully they'll run it out of business and a real business person can take it over again and make it what it once was.
