Anestis Taverna is a new addition to the Danforth. Specializing in authentic home cooked meals, daily specials and fresh fish. Offering a wide variety of fresh seafood, mixed platters, homemade dips which are perfect for sharing. Anestis Taverna delivers traditional Greek dishes along with an extensive wine list. With 160 seats, Anestis can accommodate parties of all sizes. During the summer months, our patio holds up to 100 guests. No time to join us in the dining room, we also offer take-out! We are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner and look forward to seeing you soon. OPA!

UberEats refused to bring order to apartment door, despite explaining government quarantine requirements, and the restaurant didn’t care either when I called.
Their gyro combo is a fabulous deal and it's quite tasty. The pita is soft as well as the meat, hoping it had more tzatziki in it. Generous outdoor seating since they're right on a corner. More laid back and casual than Messinis. Found the service friendly and quick. Green P parking lot a few paces to the north. Will be back for sure.
Fantastic little spot on the Danforth. Visited with my wife after COVID lockdown and ate outside on the terrace. Really enjoyed their food. I had lamb kebabs and my wife had chicken souvlaki and a Greek salad. It’s been a while since I’ve had a great lamb kebab! Highly recommend.
Love the food here. My family and I were starving and looking for a family-friendly place to dine in Greektown and we cane across this place. They have a great patio spacious enough to walk around the tables and social distancing. Food here is fresh and price is reasonable. Also, friendly staffs is a plus

Food was impeccable but the best part of my whole date with my mom was the service! Angelo was attentive, social and proactive. He made us feel welcomed and comfortable the entire evening. Honestly, this was a perfect evening.
