I don’t remember the names of these dishes I ordered, but they were delicious! The service was very friendly and fast. I loved those little crunchy pods of goodness and I could probably eat 50 of those! I was also recommended the potato stuffed roti/naan I’m sorry I forget the name of it, and was very happy with it! It reminds me of roti canai from Malaysia. So flakey and piping hot! Prices were also very reasonable and portions are more than enough. Will definitely go back to try other dishes. A little hidden gem that deserves more attention on Queen east!
I live in Houston and never have I taste Indian food, I took a vacation up north and happens to meet the owner of this great location that I was staying at. Our conversation was about a different subjects and the wonderful city of Toronto and stuff… As we come to our social conversation the food subject came up and I get to hear about this location. Keep in mind I have never eating Indian food before! I decided to try it…. And oh boy ! Was I happy to do so, the ambience is very relax, the owner was the most kind and gracious person! And the food … boy the food ! Don’t take it from me…. Just pass by, you will taste what I am taking about ! You will not be disappointed! As soon as I make it back …. That’s where I will be !
This place is a diamond in the ruff with a unique menu. This is the kind of food I'd like to see more of in our city. Good, honest, natural fast food not just processed burgers and garbage. The kathi rolls are awesome and well priced. Chicken was so tender and juicy and well seasoned. Staff is very friendly too. Love you guys hope you are here for a long time!
Amazon food. Great Vibes. One of the best Amritsari Kulcha and Chai. Wow total off the hook!Food: 5/5
Hands down one of the best Indian Street food l've tried in a while now! Their chat papri is so incredible, the papri is fresh and made of suji - a rare thing to find in Toronto. The Amritsari kulcha was piping hot and delicious. Will certainly be going back as want to try everything on their menu. The service was super friendly as well.
Hands down the food was amazing and so was the service. The food portion was super generous and the quality was spot on. Highly recommend for everyone in the beaches area to check it out if you haven’t already. Also if you like chai tea wow that is really good tooFood: 5/5
Amazing service, generous portions, unique atmosphere, and organic juices and lemonade. And that's just the start of a great experience at this fantastic find! First of all, the location. Steps from the Beaches and Kew Gardens, this Indian restaurant with its unusual name - the name of a famous beach in Mumbai - this quaint restaurant has a good mix of take-out, dine-in and patio traffic, good for every need and occasion. Then there's the food. It has tons of options for everyone's tastes: butter chicken, samosas, chais, lassis, the BEST naan, vegetarian options galore, and more. I went for the butter chicken curry and rice bowl - and found it to be perfect. With a side of plain naan, I found myself stuffed in short order - and had half of it to bring home for later. Finally, there is the staff. Ripu Singh and his team made the visit fantastic with quick, polite service, helpful suggestions for those of us who were unsure, and made it feel like we were family stopping by to chat, not customers. I will be looking forward to my next visit here, as there are so many different things I want to experience.
Delicious. Stupidly didn’t take a good pic, but the food is flavourful the people are hospitable. An easy five stars for me. Update September 2022 - outstanding Butter Chicken Special with Gulab Jamin. LOTS of tender chicken and flavourful sauce.
Quite delicious and reasonably priced. Pretty good portion sizes although the amount of chicken in the butter chicken is rather minimal. The dish itself is very flavourful and tasty. The tandoori chicken meal is also really well seasoned and has lots of flavour. We’ve been twice already and will surely return again soon!
We went to celebrate our friend's birthday today and we had the pleasure of experiencing the very delicious samosas and pakoras and chicken, and on top of that the very friendly Anaitha gave us the best service ever.Thank you so much Anaitha, we appreciate your hospitality and for sure we will be back for more. We also recommend this place for future dinners get together.Cheers!!
