Great selection of croissants from your basic butter to the Asian inspired salted egg yolk. Stopped by for a quick bite and tried the croissant sandwich turkey cranberry - lean for portion but leaves lots of room for a slice of their cakes and the truffle chicken panini. One critic is to learn how to make a proper cappuccino. But it appears to be a good bunch in Edmonton did not learn this properly. The coffee ground itself lacked any essence and too water in the espresso base and the foam lasted for a whole 5 sec before it deflated tried both the soy and skim milk option. Will be back to try the cake and other croissant flavors, but will not be ordering a coffee anytime soon.

Freshly baked croissants with a great variety of toppings and fillings. We tried four different awesome croissants almond butter, strawberry, lemon and salted egg. I like their roast beef sandwich which is perfectly cooked and had a bunch of flavours. I highly recommend this place and definitely will come back, however, when we came there was no dine-in and we had to drive back home, for that reason I’m giving them 4 stars.

Purchased ube and the egg yolk flavors. There are shredded coconut flakes on ube croissant, though it is a little too sweet the whole croissant is wonderful. The egg yolk one is a must try! A perfect combination of sweet and salty flavors! Do not forget to heat it!

Amazing service! Inquired about their $5 coffee and croissant and asked for hot water instead. They gave me the hot water for free and an amazing first experience at this cafe. The almond croissant was amazing. I definitely have to come back here to try their lemon meringue croissant. I was told that was one of their best sellers. Note: No dine in Overall 10/10 tucked away in a nice location.

My husband picked up a few of their delicious croissants and it was all amazing! The salted egg croissant, once warmed for 5 mins in the oven, was amazing. The center was molten and all melted. The crispy bits on top was also a nice contrast. We have always loved this little hidden gem. Their cakes are also amazing! We haven’t had anything that we didn’t like!

This place was amazing, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a croissant or pastry that hits all the points. I was travelling to Edmonton from Calgary, looking for places to eat that were local and would not be found in Calgary. Now that I have been I am so glad I found this place, it would be worth a 3 hour drive just to visit this place again. I have never had a croissant as well done as I did at Chocorrant. There were the layers you look for in a pastry, it was cooked just enough to crisp the outside without it being over cooked, the flavour was enough for you to want to keep eating but not overpowering, and it looked as amazing as it tasted. I tried the Ham and Gruyère, the Chocolate Almond, and came back the next morning for the Truffle Cheese. The second time I came I also had a vanilla latte which was quite good with the right amount of vanilla in it. Another great part about this place was how affordable it was to eat here, which surprised me considering the quality you get. There is a deal where you can get a croissant and coffee for $5, or you can get 4 croissants for $17. Unfortunately I did not get to try their cake slices but I’m sure they are delicious as well, they looked quite good. Overall just a great experience to sit on the seats set up outside, and enjoy the morning while eating a fantastic croissant. It really was a great way to start the day two mornings in a row. I could not recommend this place enough to anyone considering going.

This is one of my favourite bakeries in Edmonton! Their croissants are so fluffy and delicious. I recommend everyone tries the crème brûlée croissant.

It was gifted for a virtual event and the croissants were all so good!! We'll have to go into the store to see what other flavours to try out.next.

OMG, these were so tasty, if you are heading to Edmonton this is a must stop. They have 12 or more different flavors of croissants and the ones we tried were all just delicious. I've had lots of flavored croissant but not like this since a lot of other places uses flavored cream or jelly for their croissants this places bakes it all into the croissant. The salted egg yolk was definitely my favorite with the oozing center and a perfect balance be croissant and the amount of egg yolk filling but all the other ones we got was really good too. We couldn't have them all in one day so if you heat them in the oven the next day or the day after that they are still really tasty, flaky with a nice crisp on the outside and and buttery on the inside. They also had a lot of cakes I wanted to try but since we were going to eat them right away and they would be sitting in the car for the whole day we didn't think it would last we didn't try them this time but would be going back for sure. This is a new must stop shop whenever we are in YEG for sure.
