Ordered a meal combo for 2 for takeout. The food was disgusting, ended up throwing it all out. I got the pad thai and requested they do not include the chicken, as I'm vegetarian. Of course, they ignored that and there were really disgusting looking pieces of chicken cooked in (like with skin and cartilage, lots of fat). The noodles were also sandy, I don't think they washed the veggies they put in, Then the vegetable fried rice was very disappointing. It was just plain white steamed rice (no soy sauce) with very large chunks and strips of veggies. You basically need a knife to eat it. Even just the smell of the food when I received it was off-putting. Never again!!

I have no problems with the food, but the service was mediocre. Last time I was there, the server did not know English, so speaking to her was done via my friend who knew Mandarin. Would be great if they hired someone who spoke English! Food quality was decent.

I love this restaurant. It has a great selection of chinese food. There are many Chinese restaurants on the university plaza, this restaurant by far is my most visit. They have a special menu where you can order multiple dishes for less price. Be sure to bring your friends, if you want to save some money. The restaurant is definitely due for some renovation. The staff is friendly, especially if you speak Mandarin. This might be an issue, and they needs improvement. Overall, I give them a 4 stars out of 5.

Worst dining experience for a while. The waitress was extremely rude. The food was super salty, oily, and not authentic at all. It’s probably my last day staying in Waterloo in my life. And I somehow came to this restaurant. What a pity!

Horrible horrible horrible experience. The waitress was extremely rude. Food was overdosed with so much salt. Would not recommend going.
