Came for dinner when staying at the Holiday Inn. Was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice restaurant in a 3-start hotel. Ambiance was nice. Service was timely and friendly. Food portion is generous. The steak was done just right with good presentation. I had soup of the day which was a pumpkin based soup. Wish it had more flavour because it was bland for my taste. Also would be nice to have freshly ground peppers offered.
The atmosphere, warm comfy and cozy. Staff - serves with a smile The menu was really good, the food looked quite exquisite. We don't came here for drinks but yet was really blown away by how the place is. Quite packed yet still lots of space.
Lionel was a culinary experience at its best. If you want great French cuisine in a very comforting, calm and beautiful setting, Lionel is the place for you. Their menu is always changing and their staff is very welcoming and nice. From appetizer, to main dish, to desserts, it is absolutely fantastic and I rarely experienced in Montréal such deligh when eating at restaurant. I am a foodie and I can tell you their food is addictive. Bravo to the Chef I highly recommend this place
Delicious meals and generous portions. Their fish and chips was the highlight for me, although their duck ravioli was also very good. I never expected such a high-end and gorgeous restaurant inside of our hotel! The food was amazing and the drinks were great! This one came with my favorite candy which was a nice touch. The wait staff were very nice and accommodating to us only one of us speaks French but they were a bit slow to come around to us around check time. Overall a great experience and we were very impressed.
We had a baby shower on Nov.06 for 43 people. The discussions with Benjamin was respect and insightful. The service by Mike-David, Jonathan, Justin and Chloe was extraordinary. They were accommodating, respectful and basically made our party enjoyable. The food was extremely good and tasty with a nice presentation. Thank you to the Chef and his team! Thank you Chez Lionel. Highly recommend you. Vegetarian options: They were able to address Vegans and Vegeterian. Dietary restrictions: Allergies were addressed
Really liked the service here. The waiters were all amazing that friday night! I had the burger with a salad, honestly the salad was amazing I don't regret not getting the fries. My friends got a Cesar salad and the burger plate but with fries. The food was good and the ambience was very very nice. I like the lighting and the terrasse. Would recommend for a nice relaxing diner out with some loved ones.
