Chenango Valley State Park

The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the bathroom lighting could be more conducive to seeing the stars. The outside light lit up the whole grassy area. Other than that, it's a great place!

We recently spent a couple of days camping here. We tent-camped in an electric site. Bathrooms were easily accessible from pretty much anywhere in the park. They were clean. The showers worked well. The staff was very helpful even when the office wasn’t supposed to be open yet. Great place to get away!

It's a beautiful park. Quiet, secluded with beautiful views of the woods and lakes. And the hiking trails evolve wonderfully with the change of seasons!

We arrived late on our road trip for on night of camping with our small trailer. Staff was great and let us choose our own site, which was a large lot in a beautiful wooded area. Facilities are very clean and bath house has private bathrooms with showers. Very quiet stay. Highly recommended.

This is a really nice campground. Elevated sites make runoff easy. 50 amp service for trailers in one area. 30 amp service in others. The lake as swimming are needs help. The concrete is breaking up and one of the diving boards is out of service. The water is dirty looking but the lifeguards are very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are outdated and need updating. ( Please put in motion sensing faucets in the bathrooms!)
