I had a very last minute request for a moving company to move a downtown Vancouver office of 40 employees, and Short Notice Movers came to the rescue. I wasn't sure what quality of service we would get, and were beyond pleased by the work ethic, quickness and positive attitudes of the movers. I absolutely recommend them for any type of move, and will be using them again!

I moved here from across the country with United but unfortunately it took me a few weeks to find a place to live in Vancouver. In the meantime United stored my stuff. When it was finally time to move it the last 8 km to my new place, they wanted to charge me $900! Now I was expecting some extra fees but not that much. So I decided to see if I could find someone else to move it for cheaper. These guys were able to do for $300 on only one day notice. Amazing. They saved me a whole bunch of money. They also showed up exactly on time and did a great job moving all my stuff. The whole move only took 1.5 hours total, very painless. Their rate is $100 per hour which is slightly higher than some other companies. However they only charge a minimum of 2 hours and most other companies charge 3. (Plus a hour fee which all companies seem to have.) So if you know your move will be fast, this might be your cheapest option.

Horrible experience with our moving. Their movers didn't show up on time. They were one hour late and the movers broke our closet and bed rod too. They weren't professional at all. Horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I booked them last minute to move my studio, and no problem they had availability. I knew it would not take a long time, so was super happy that they charge only minimum of 2 hrs + 1/2 driving time. When most other companies had a minimum of 3-4 hrs. and up to 1hr. driving time. The guys (forget names now) were absolutely great. Arrived right on time with smiles on their faces, which stayed throughout the move even though the end location had a good amount of stairs. They did an excellent job and I will hire them for my next move for sure.
