Has gone downhill. Totally depends on the crew you get. Some of the older guys who have been with the company a while are still awesome. We have used them multiple times in the past and were happy but this latest experience was terrible. The packers were inexperienced and careless - broke a lot of our belongings.

i found out that very other company in the city charges less. also these guys didn't send a single Canadian to move me it was all out sourced labour from another country how are they claiming to be Canada's favorites when they dont even hire Canadians? either way they charge 155 for 2 movers and a truck and i noticed everyone else is around 100 :/

Had a great moving experience with "You Move Me" Calling and booking was very simple. Very friendly and did not take to long. A nice girl Jacqueline a few days before my move to confirm everything. The morning of my move Doug and Goodwin called before coming over. They brought me Starbucks :) Arrived right on time. They were both very kind, worked very hard, treated myself and my things very well. Nothing broken! I would highly highly recommend You Move Me and Doug and Goodwin were very professional and will recommend them to everyone! Thanks so much "You Move Me"

We booked a truck for our move from Coal Harbour to Telus Gardens. Right from the start the boys were faced with issues and they handled every single problem like a pro. These champions didn't let anything faze them.
These were the following issues they had to face
1. There was an envelope study done on the building we were moving out of, causing the loading lock to be blocked and they had to park and load around the corner (Great. Extra heavy lifting) Sorry boys!!
2. The building we were moving out of had issues with their elevators, the concierge wouldn't allow us to lock our elevator. We had to share the elevator with residence during a move out.
3. We finally made it to Telus Gardens, unbeknownst to us, the loading dock had a height limit of 12 feet. The moving truck is 4 inches too high. Great. The boys had the joy of moving down 70 extra feet of down hill drive way into the P1 loading lock.
Not once did they look displeased or annoyed. Their cheerful optimistic attitude really made a difference during our stressful move. So THANK YOU MARKUS and PHIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw an ad on TV for this company and figured after reading some good Yelp reviews to call them. I reached out to YouMoveMe through their customer service number to talk about cross-country moving estimates. The guy I spoke to was quite peppy, really excited I was interested in the company. I was pushed into setting up an in-person appointment at my current place of residence (because I was not doing a local move). I told him I couldn't provide a specific day and time I'd be free for this, which resulted in the sales tactic that I "could cancel or reschedule if something came up." He glossed over it, as he was more focused on setting up the actual appointment (which I understand from a business point-of-view) to clinch the deal. He was friendly, albeit pushy. I unfortunately had to cancel the appointment, and when I called back a few days later I experienced the most hostile, passive-aggressive customer service I'd ever encountered.
I explained to the guy on the phone I didn't have my schedule with me at the moment and I'd have to call back at another time to make a new appointment, and that I'd simply like to cancel my appointment for now. He really didn't like that, and asked me why I was cancelling. Again I explained and he tried to push me into rescheduling at that moment. Again I explained I did not have my planner/schedule with me and could not reschedule at this time.
He was completely silent for quite a bit, and I said "Are you still there?" He angrily huffed back "I'm pulling up your information" (though I gave him none of my personal information; I believe he used the number I was calling him with to pull all this up). I asked if he needed my Job ID number that was in my appointment confirmation email, but instead he just read off all my personal information (address & name). He never told me my appointment was cancelled... I asked, "Could you please send me an email confirmation of my cancelled appointment just for documentation?" Instead he angrily said they can't do that (though I got an email for the appointment confirmation a few days prior...). I said, "Ok, well just to clarify with you, my appointment has in fact been cancelled? I just want to make sure so the guys don't show up and no one is here." He angrily told me "Well that'd be a waste of time." I said, "Ok, like I said I just wanted to clarify before we ended our call."
There was a strange pause, then he said "You're welcome." I laughed a bit because it seemed strange, and I ended the call with a goodbye. It was extremely uncomfortable and troublesome... I still wasn't sure if he actually cancelled the appointment.
After this phone call, I went ahead and followed up later in the day to ensure my appointment was cancelled and spoke with Angela. She truly is the only reason I have bumped my review up from one star to two. I explained the earlier phone call with her and wanted to confirm my cancellation. She was great and the only redeeming aspect of my experience with this company.
Overall, I feel if I can't even trust a customer service rep to handle himself professionally and courteously, how can I possibly trust this company to move my belongings cross-country? Though I'm upset about my experience with their customer service, I'm extremely glad I found out early on their professional behavior rather than after using them to move my belongings. Cannot recommend this unprofessional & inconsistent company.
