Chauhans India Grill House & Banquet

Such a wonderful first visit to The India Grill this evening. Staying in Loughton for a few days I was dining alone but have seen the place packed at the weekend - so it must be good! You'd hope so - the family have run the business from these premises since 1970 and it's currently listed as the No2 best Indian Restaurant in the whole of Essex. I ventured inside on a snowy, cold and miserable December Monday and I'm so pleased I did. The Owner, Mo and his family gave me a lovely warm-welcome. My order; Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi, Keema Rice, Onion Bhaji. All came, promptly, piping hot, fresh and with beautiful levels of flavour and spicing. Perfect portion size a decent sized meal...not too much, not too little. Excellent value. Will be back again, next time with my wife!

Wow! We LOVE the food here. This family run buisness in Loughton is high on service and little on price. Cobra on draft, delicious poppadoms and the worlds biggest Nann bread. Go and feast in this fabulous restaurant.

We have just had the most delicious meal here this evening! Fabulous personal service, a lot of care given to my daughter who has never had Indian food before!! It’s my mums favourite restaurant, she eats here regularly! She loved sharing it with us all!! Food was just lovely!!!!!! Thank you for a great evening!! They cook my favourite which isn't on the menu from fresh, the standard and beautifully cooked dishes are another level. My mouth is watering as I write this post, no other Indian comes close to the food the chef here produces. The staff are so pleasant too. I live in Surrey and when I visit my Mum this place is my go to for a quality takeaway. Wish I had it close to where I live

Went the other week with my family for a meal. Everything was perfect. Food was amazing highly recommend the India Grill Special. The service was amazing, kept us informed and brought everything out at the right time. A big thank you to the host who made us feel really welcomed. Will definitely be returning

Great family run traditional Indian with a modern outlook. Highly recommended!! . We just got a takeaway but often eat in and the service is always excellent. Great for any occasion from friends night out to family gathering. Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options with plenty of amazing meat dishes. The naans are a very good size

This place has amazing customer service and are extremely friendly. I Come here often and the food never disappoints especially the Chicken Massalla, the best quality and the freshest food. Honestly highly recommended! You won’t be disappointed.

Been eating from India Grill a few months now. The food just gets better and better. Quality and quantity of stock plus tantalising flavour consistency is what makes this restaurant the best so far we have had.
