It was first time to visit this restaurant and we were really satisfied. Clean place and delicious food. We tried Kabab Iraqi style and Quazi with fasolia. Tea was served after food. We'll be back again. Recommend to visit it.
I’ve been a customers for many year and never once disappointed. This place is absolutely incredible as it bring us taste all the way from the Middle East to our plates. Food is always fresh and full of authentic taste. I eat there and cater to many of my special occasions. If you want a clean decent traditional kababs with quality I definitely recommend chateau Kabab and in the West Island one in particular. Many thanks to the effort kept up.
Great service especially Othman. Food is ok. We were large group. The Filet Megnon wasn't cooked well in some dishes. Chicken and beef were excellent for the rest Food: 3/5
It was a very good experience. After pretty long time I had a Iranian cuisine. The taste was awesome Parking: The good thing about this restaurant is they have parking but if you go downtown to another branch or any other restaurants you might not find parking and if you park somewhere else when you are not sure, you might get a ticket double or triple of you meal
This is an objective deep dive review of chateau Kabab West Island Let’s talk about food variations: Since this is an Iraqi / Iranian / Mediterranean speciality restaurant, you will find the appetizer menu full of mixed dishes that taste very good from that region. Some of which taste very close to home made dishes. I pretty much tasted all of them. In terms of the grills menu , it has literally Iraqi and Iranian Kebabs as well as spicy ones. Since taste is subjective , I won’t get into how much I love it ; Family meal variations: They have about 6 family specials. Traditional food: They have traditional dishes dish of the day on the menu that includes Zereshk polo , baghali polo and another that are Iranian , they also have 3 more dishes such as Quazi that is an Iraqi style dish with a lamb shank. They also have vegetarian and Vegan dishes ; Parking spots: The parking is not too small nor big so it’s good to arrive early if you are looking for a Dine-in experience. Prices: Make sure to check out the right menu when you are ordering food. Online prices for take out / pickup and delivery are different than those for Dine-In. Also they have lunch specials menu from 11 am to 3 pm which is good for many who are working or on the run. Just check their website for the right menu. Service: If you are looking for a top notch service like 5 star hotel. You can maybe call in a head of time to request such service however service is a subjective matter where some people are high maintenance and other are low maintenance. During rush/ busy times, the service can slow down than usual times. Staff will be trying their best to get the delicious food to your table while the chief is preparing these home made style meals. Also service depends on priority so if you arrive at a time when there are 10 people in-front of you then you will have to wait until your food is ready. Special requests: I am amazed how the owner is flexible to honor special requests. I did have special events that were held in the restaurant and out side the restaurant that were successful 100% everyone was very happy with the food and service. The trick is to arrange these events with the owner. Reservation: The reservation system is open online to reserve however you need to wait for the restaurant confirmation to guarantee your reservation. If you have special requests, they should be mentioned in the reservation form. If your guests are late, the restaurant service will fall back to first come first served meaning that the restaurant will serve who is available in the restaurant until your guests arrive. Summer time: They have a nice outside area terrasse. They also have a prayer area. I am a client since 2005 :
For over 11 years my family and I are going to chateau kebab in the West Island. It is one of the best places for fresh meat and kebab. The food is delicious and they have very good and fast service. The owner and the servers really take the time to care for their customers and provide them with friendly and respectful service. The atmosphere is relaxing and there is easy parking. I highly recommend this restaurant. “Let the beauty around be what we do” Rumi
We were a group of 18 including two vegetarians eating at mid afternoon with a reservation. We shared hummus and pita to start, then salads and the delicious mixed grill with rice and fries. There was tea to go around to finish the meal. There was plenty of food and the staff were efficient yet unobtrusive. We felt welcomed and relaxed to stay for two hours as we chatted and reminisced. I highly recommend. Vegetarian options: They had hummus and pita, salads and grilled vegetables. There is also a lentil soup though we didn’t have it this time. Parking: Easy access from Sources Blvd. There was sufficient parking.
My girlfriend and I went yesterday evening for supper. It was my first time at this restaurant. I found the food delicious and very flavourful I had the chicken Château kebab along with the spicy minced meat kebab... tasty grilled meat! What made the evening even more enjoyable was the attentive and friendly waiter and waitress. I am looking forward to going back very soon and this time I'll bring my brother and his family along!
Very tasty, i suggest to add like a red sauce with kebab platters like dakkous tomato sauce which will bring the taste to the max Food: 5/5
This is a wonderful place for dinner with family. The place is spacious and they are generous with mixed grill family platters. They give lentil soup, salad, hummus and pita with every order. I would definitely come back here when I'm in Montreal.
